State Theatre — Local services in Hutchinson

I have been trying to buy a gift card to the Theater since mid July. It was for a silent auction. I didn't ask for a donation, just wanted a gift card. They didn't have any. I have stopped in 5 times. Today I stopped, because I was told to come back today at 3:15 and they could help me. They didn't have gift cards and the manager said they weren't open yet. I said I realize that but I was told to come at this time. Both the manager and his wife have been rude to me. I would also think they could figure out a way to let me buy some tickets and the popcorn bucket. They have not tried to help me out at all. Silent Auction was in mid-July. I love the State Theater! Very friendly staff. Ticket prices are $5.00, but after 6pm, I think, the ticket prices are $6.50, I believe it is. After researching other movie theater ticket prices, in Hutchinson and Litchfield, MN, I found that the State Theater was cheaper. My husband had never been to this movie theater before, but I remember seeing a few movies there in the past. I saw the new 2023 "The Little Mermaid" and my husband saw "Fast 10." Both awesome movies! Such nostalgia for me, since one of my favorite childhood movies was animated 'The Little Mermaid.' My husband has seen all of the 'Fast and Furious' franchise movies. This is my favorite theater of all time. The prices are beyond reasonable, the couple that owns it do a fantastic job. The popcorn is THE BEST, I would recommend buying the refillable bucket, no regrets here. The seats are comfortable, everything is clean and in excellent condition. Tuxedos are a must buy if you like chocolate covered almonds (rumor has if they are the wife owner's favorite too) I would highly recommend this theater plus you get to stand for the star spangled banner before each show and that's...
