My husband and I had wanted to go to this DQ since January 2022, but they were closed. We found out they would reopen again in the Spring/Summer 2022. We had a gift certificate for that DQ only, but it expired in February 2022, so my husband got in contact with Jamie, the franchise owner of that certain DQ, and got her permission to use our certificate when they reopened (by writing 'per.Jamie' on our certificate). We finally got to go to the Hutchinson DQ in the middle of June. They open at 11am and no one opened the main doors. We waited for 10-15 minutes at the main entrance and decided to enter through the back entrance that we saw an employee enter through shortly before 11am, since that back door hadn't locked. The staff were surprised to see us and we said the back door was not closed after the employee entered, so we walked in since the main doors were still locked. There were about 3 staff members trying to get the main entrance doors to open, but they couldn't get it open. My husband helped them get the doors open. When we placed our order, we let the staff person know we had a gift certificate to use, but they didn't know how to ring up our order with that. That staff person just stood there looking at us and we told her to get the manager to help her because that was what we were using to pay. Then it took 20-25 minutes to get our food and we were the first people to place our order and there were only two other parties of 2 people each, who had ordered after us. We aren't impressed with the staff members or service at this particular DQ. New staff or not, they need more training...

Asked for extra ranch, the employee didnât put it on the order, when I asked (and I mentioned it wasnât on the receipt) he just sighed and heard him talking bad about us saying âthey claimed they orderedâ when we did. Second off, I ordered a flame thrower burger and there was no flame thrower sauce. My friend got the wrong order immediately. Then he took her food away when they brought out the right food. Had to call their name a few times until we got her food. Half of us had to wait over 15-25 minutes for our food when the other half got theirs within 5 minutes. The ranch sauce when we did get them was also all different consistencies and tasted off. The employees just signed and bad talked us loudly during all of this. They also yelled across the restaurant at each other about the ranch. The blizzards were also not mixed at all. Oh, and when I asked for a fork for the bbq chicken strips, he also sighed when theyâre supposed to come with a fork.    Read moreI swear they pick on me. The last 3 times I've been here have been awful service. The first time I ordered a burger meal with onion rings instead of fries, when it was brought to my table it had fries and no onion rings. I was scolded by Mavis to order onion rings if I wanted them, I did, it was repeated back to me when i ordered, but I still got fries instead. The second time I ordered a 1/3 lb burger, which is a double patty, but got the 1/2 lb triple patty burger. Again ordered onion rings instead of fries. When it was read back to me the young careless worker said 1/3 lb burger and fries! I had to specify onion rings instead of fries several times before she understood what I was talking about. Clearly not trained well. Then today, I go in to get a peanut buster parfait. I waited for 10 minutes and watched several people that ordered actual food after me get their orders first. I had to ask and apparently my order got deleted off the screen before it was made. The person that I talked to was quick in getting it for me and very apologetic. Thank you...
