Home source is one of the worst places I have ever had to deal with. I bought a washing machine for my 90 year old mother. I paid extra for a 5 year warranty and they said they will come out and fix it whenever there were issues . The soap dispenser does not work and has not worked since the day we bought it. My mother has been calling the store for over a month. No one answers the phone. She has left several messages with no response. She left messages for Shaun who is supposed to fix it and he does not respond. We have had to go to the store and try to get help with the 2 ladies that work there doing nothing. When asked if they got the messages they just say yes i think there was a message but they did nothing . We are currently heading to the store again to see if we can get this fixed. I would never buy any thing from them again. We are now contacting the manufacture to get our money back. I can’t believe how rude and disrespectful they are to a poor lady that is in her 90 s. The worst customer service I have ever seen . They acted all friendly and great until they got the money for the product and they did nothing!! Beware! They won’t give you the time of day once you purchase...

The time came for us to replace our old washing machine. Adrienne was wonderful when assisting us with purchasing the washing machine that met all of my desired specifications. Even though the machine that I wanted was not available right away, it did not take long for it to arrive.

We opted to have our old washing machine recycled at the same time that our new washing machine was delivered and installed. Dan from the Hutchinson location did the delivery and installation. This is the second time that he has delivered and installed appliances for us. Dan is absolutely phenomenal. He is both knowledgeable and professional. Even with our terribly steep stairs, Dan was quick with our installation and careful with getting the appliances up and down the stairs. (It was a very tight fit.) He thoroughly checked to make sure that the hoses were all replaced and connected properly. He also any questions that I had.

Excellent customer service like that which we received from Dan and Adrienne is why we will continue to purchase our appliances from Home Source...

We’ve been loyal customers for all our major appliances for two decades. Recent afternoon, we purchased an electric range and over the range microwave oven. Following morning at store open, contacted Adrian stating we’d like to return the microwave oven. Our plan was to purchase a higher end model. Was told there would be a 25% restocking fee because the box was opened. My mistake for not requesting to see their return policy. The store owner told us their return policy is no different from the box stores, so I checked: Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes, Menards and Sears, however I found this to be false. Tried to keep business local but, because of the extremely poor way this matter was handled, in addition to rudely being hung up on by the store owner, we’ll no longer be able to neither purchase from nor recommend others to Home Source Store of Hutchinson.
