Chicago Urban League — Local services in Hyde Park Township

Well I enrolled into the 3 week youth opportunity program and had great attendance because this program intentions was to assist in finding me employment but did nothing but clean up my resume and review old content about professional workplace skills but did not live up to its word. The staff were mixed up like some were professional and helpful and more then enough were the exact opposite. The urban tech program seemed to be to selective with their enrollment process and unprofessional with how they go about contacting you for results. Barely anyone but one staff will already give me some updates since the youth oppertuinty classes but I feel it wasn't as helpful as they made it seem. My experience with the League has been very educational on the business side, & a great life experience that I continue to refer others. As long as you have individuals in life that care, & passionate about their jobs you will always get great service. You can't please everyone. It's a hit or miss depending on what services you are looking for from Housing, Workforce, Education, Entrepreneur Center, Their Prisoner Return to Work Program you are in the right place.
