Beautiful beach but Rude people, inadequate parking, closes when parking lot is half full. Boat launch parking area is reserved for boats and hard kayaks only, we had hard kayaks and there was plenty of parking but still denied entry. Very rude about it. They let a small van park in the boat trailer area, but not us, our large pickup was just as long as their van. People packing up and leaving kayak spots, but not allowed to wait a few minutes, forced to leave and someone behind us was given the spot, though we were there first. If your not there when it opens on weekend you will likely have a problem trying to launch a boat due to limited parking. Amazingly, I was the ONLY car with a boat in the boat ramp entrance line! Seems a lot of people feel entitled to drive through the BOAT ENTRANCE in their car thinking they are special and should get a parking spot. What a waste of park resources and everyone...
