We stopped here twice on this day in November. Once just after sunrise to look at the mountains and again after lunch to swim. I don't mind the cold water temperature so went swimming alone. I got a kick out of seeing people bundled up in winter coats and long pants while I was out in the water taking pictures in the water.
The are is very well maintained. The restrooms were open, clean, and had heaters running due to the low temperature outside. There was plenty of parking with bench all along the walking paths. It's a nice place to visit...
