I've never had a WORSE experience with a manager from any business than this place. She was a blonde older lady with a pony tail. After spending so much at Burning Man, I was trying to save money so I asked the cashier if I could fill some bags of ice. I also offered to pay for ice if that wasn't okay. I start filling the bag and the manager comes and YANKS the bags out of my hands. She kept interrupting me when I was trying to explain to her that I asked if I could and if the cashier didn't know, I would pay. She then went behind the counter and yelled "THIEF! Ill call the ranger if you dont leave" ...when I'm trying to say I would pay. I tried to apologize to the cashier because I wasn't trying to throw her under the bus for telling me incorrect info...and the manager yells over me that I can't speak to them. The manager simply could've asked if she could have my ice bags, or if I could pay for what I poured. I almost feel physically assaulted having something yanked from my hands. Also...instead of speaking about solutions. She just dumped the ice bags in the trash...so she doesn't care about wasting water in an area like Tahoe. If she cared about the environment, she could've offered I pay for the bag. And because she said I couldn't come in to purchase anything anymore, that is a safety issue if I overheat on the water... Alan the ranger came and understood that ripping items from my hands isn't okay, and he was kind enough to buy ice for me because I didn't want to see that managers face again. He let me take a breather in the office when this manager completely humiliated and embarrassed me in front of employees and customers, and possibly physically assaulted me (if ripping items from someone's hands is considered that).

Cashier can't even tell the difference between a $5 dollar bill and a $20 dollar bill. Brought a ice cream included tax $4.32. I gave her a $20 dollar bill and 4 dime she gave me 16cents back and she keep telling me that I gave her a $5 dollar bill....extremely not happy about this experience that I have . If I were you guys or who ever read this I hope you guys be careful and boycott this place.....

The perfect spot for a quick bite while enjoying Sand Harbor! You get tasty deli-style food paired with a stunning lakeside view, easy, convenient, and beautiful. A great way to refuel without missing a moment of the scenery.

The owner is very rude. She was making my drink and I went up to her to ask her a question about my drink and she said, “NOT RIGHT NOW, WE ARE TOO BUSY, GO ASK HER!” and pointed to the cashier but she was very rude about it. I went to ask the cashier who was very helpful and she was able to assist me but when I turned around the owner was answering someone’s else question.I got upset and told her, “you could answer someone else’s question but you do not have time for mine! “ she just looked me as I walked away. when I asked to speak to the manager I found out she was the OWNER! what a great example for the employees, and so unprofessional of her. we are giving her our business and paying for the service for such...

Don't order the chicken ranch sandwich. I think they boil the chicken, put it on a grill to make it looked like it was grilled, refrigerate it, then microwave it before serving it. I'm not really sure what they do but it's like biting into a baseball mitt only tougher. The inside is a weird stringy grey consistency. Oh... and there is nothing ranch about it except maybe you can shoe a horse with it. The fish tacos were mid. The chicken strips and fries were too. How do you mess up fries? Good bloody Mary though. Still only one star because...
