Zetouna's Liquor II — Local services in Independence Charter Township

While in Michigan’s UP I had a wonderful whitefish dinner and an exceptional blueberry beer. I went to the brewers website and they had a search engine that listed where any of their beers could be purchased. I was amazed to find out that at this time only 2 places in Michigan sold it. One was at the brewery in Ishpeming. The other was at Zetouna’s. Though Zetouna’s is over 45 minutes from my house I made the drive. The owner was pleasant and helpful and had a wonderful knowledge of beer. They had a huge selection of craft beers including many brands that are awesome that I have never seen around here. Gus carries a good amount of craft beer and liquors that you might not normally find at your run of the mill grocery or liquor store. If he doesn't have it, he'll try to get it for you. They are the sister store to Zetouna in Rochester at m59 and crooks, so there is definitely something for everyone as these stores. Highly recommend compared to some places that gouge you around here...

I must say that I'm overly impressed by the selection of alcohol here. They also have Voss in glass bottles, which can be hard to find.
