The Pho Pot — Restaurant in Waterford Township

My husband and I have eaten at The Pho Pot twice now and I can honestly say that we will continue to go back! The restaurant itself is clean, and though there is not a lot of seating, they do have carry out available and looking at the pictures other customers have posted with carryout, we're going to have to try that option as well! The food is so good. Both times we've been, I've gotten the pho with the thinly sliced beef. It is delicious, a huge serving and just really hits the spot! My husband ordered the pho with the beef and meatballs the first visit and the second time we visited (this past Friday night), he ordered the grilled pork chop dish that was out of this world good. They gave him an option as to how to prepare it - get the sesame option! Such tender pork! And let's chat about the egg rolls. You get four of them and they are served so hot and crunchy! Hot and crunchy should be underlined. We've ordered them each time we've been there and they're awesome. We haven't ordered the spring rolls yet, but I want to. They look like a meal in and of themselves. They're huge! My daughter stopped in and ordered a Boba Tea Smoothie (can't remember the flavor, but I was looking at the board while we were there and making plans to return for a pineapple version!) and said it was really good. So...we are glad the Pho Pot is in nearby Waterford and we are happy to support this...

Disclosure. I am a family friend, but I will always be honest of course. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. The food is always fresh and well worth the price. I believe they are one of the first Vietnamese restaurants in Michigan (that I know of) to offer gluten free food! I live about 35 minutes away and whenever I visit my family friends there, and we always crave (Vietnamese food) this is our spot.! Not only that but next door they have amazing grocery store which now accepts ebt, and a anime / Asian gift store adjacent!! An amazing mini Vietnamese/ Asian experience! I love buying my groceries there and supporting family friends of course, and buying gifts for my family too! The food is exceptionally delicious and nutritious! I stopped here because I needed some fresh soup and vegetables in my system since my stomach was upset. I knew that the Pho Pot it’s just a freshest ingredients and great spices so I can sweat my toxins out and enjoy The flavorful chicken pho soup with noodles and colantro (it’s a type of cilantro did they serve in Vietnam and south America and Southeast Asia). The broth is perfect. Just the right amount of flavors and spices. I made it just a little bit spicier by adding some hot chili. I could not finish the entire bowl. Very filling very fast The young owner explained all the ingredients carefully and was very accommodating. Be prepared to sweat and blow your nose.
