I went with my parents to village place today the staff was friendly. We were waited on and served quite quickly. We ordered 2 nachos 1 chicken 1 beef. My issues really were some of the chips were stale some were fresh it was kinda odd. I ordered the beef one which was quiet greasy the flavor was good though. On the other hand you wouldn't want dry ground beef so it wasn't the worst but I've had better. I also keep in mind village place isn't a Mexican restaurant so next time we get Mexican I think we will try some where else. The only other thing is our waitress when my parents explained the chips were stale instead of just offering to replace the food or inform the manager she questioned it. She was like are you sure? Then asked if mine was alright. We didn't ask for new ones or even to not pay we weren't trying to scam anyone just informing her so that kinda bothered me. My wife Ellie and I have been going there for over 20 yrs. We love the place. Excellent food, plenty of quality food for the right price. Wait team is great. Super friendly, funny, patient, helpful, chk on us lots of times to ensure dinning experience is the best and it always is. The last 50 years my wife and I eat out on Friday's, Saturday’s and Sundays. Village Place (VP) is right at the top of our best restaurants.
