If you’re looking for a place where the coffee is hot, the food is comforting, and the people treat you like you’ve been coming there your whole life—even if it’s your first visit—Sisters Café in Clarkston is it.
From the moment you walk through the door, there’s a warmth that goes beyond the cozy booths and vintage décor. It’s the kind of welcoming energy that’s hard to find these days, and it starts with Maddie and Barbie, the heart and soul of the café. These two, along with the rest of the friendly staff, greet you like family, not customers. They remember your name, your usual order, and even how you like your eggs cooked.
The food is exactly what you hope for from a hometown spot—classic American breakfast and lunch dishes made with care. Think fluffy pancakes, golden hash browns, hearty omelets, and stacked sandwiches. Everything tastes like it was made in someone’s kitchen, not a chain kitchen. It’s comfort food done right.
But what really sets Sisters Café apart is the vibe. It’s not just a restaurant—it’s a gathering place. It’s that rare kind of spot where you feel like you belong.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through Clarkston, do yourself a favor and stop in. At Sisters Café, you’re not just a guest—you’re part of the...
Read moreI had such high hopes for this new local Mom & Pop breakfast, lunch restaurant in our area. I would gladly pay the $$ for decent food. However, my mood was not good. (There moto: Good food, Good Mood) There were 3 of us, and our bill was $45. We got an omelet and pancakes. The pancakes were the worst I've ever had in a restaurant! Whatever they used as oil, or whatever was on the grill before our pancakes, was picked up, and they were hard to cut! My omelet was wrong, I ordered the Greek omelet with NO bacon. It came with bacon. It was very small and OVER done!!! I had fruit instead of hash browns. It was 2 grapes, 2 blueberries and a strawberry cut up in very small pieces (to look like more). Service was great, and the decor was nice. Bathrooms were clean, ample parking. I'm not sure when 3 Sisters in Clarkston opened, but I'm hoping in time they will improve! The menu is small, and that gave me high hopes! We won't be going there for breakfast again, but we will try the lunch menu and see if that is any better. They do have sourdough bread from Crust in Fenton, which is amazing! They sell it by the...
