The park seemed nice but the basketball court could use some work. There is a basketball floor mat on the court which looks cool but it’s separating in the middle so it’s hard to take free throws and your ball will bounce far away if it lands onto the crack. It would be awesome if it could be snapped back together. Also, the rims were crooked and the nets held onto my ball on both hoops which was annoying. I think one of the backboards has cracks from people throwing stuff to get their ball down. Replacing the nets and straightening the rims shouldn’t be too hard. I was also confused to see the pool unfilled in the middle of July, but I’m not from the area so maybe there’s something going on I don’t know about. Still a fun place to hoop, nice it’s by bus stops. But I can imagine how much better it could be with improvements I listed above.

I went for a morning walk around the park and I enjoyed the fact that it was well maintained, grass well kept and no trash . Very spacious for picnics and outside games … and a lot of trees for shade . There is a nice small playground. Parking is not supposed to be a problem. The memorial of peace is well designed and offer a great opportunity to teach kids and adults about history ! The fact that it is about 10 min away to downtown Indy it’s a plus!

Most notable for artwork linking Martin Luther King, Jr. with Robert F. Kennedy. Also of note: * Pool that has stayed closed lately, regardless of season. * Large playground area. * One basketball court. * Park mini-amphitheater, with lots of seating and charcoal grills. * One portable-toilet restroom (atm.)

Well they've changed the name from Dr Martin Luther King who is one of the greatest man who ever lived in my opinion now they call it Kennedy King I'm building a museum which is really nice I do not like the fact did they change the name and put Kennedy's name first I feel that's total disrespect what Kennedy is a big figure nowhere near Dr Martin Luther King's legendary history the man who had a dream it should be king Kennedy Park examples of that butt the white man has the money to support the project so that's where they going to put the white man's name first I feel like it's disrespectful and it's getting worser that was always Dr King Park that's why I...
