Family Dollar — Local services in Indianapolis

Sad reality when you go into a store and realize no one that works in the store is actually there to help you. I think they are just there to make the store look like its a functional store, you know sprinkle a few employees around that can talk jibberish with each other but when you as the customer asks them anything they can't compute what your saying(literally) I've never seen so many people that are a waste of space and air until I stepped into this store. I called myself caring and asked why this was a reality for them(why do you guys act like people are always bothering you when they ask you a question, you're the ones that work here?) and a unkept fat so-called 'security' guy said "well your on 38th st". And at that moment I knew there was absolutely no hope for this store to get any better anytime soon. So shop at your own risk!!!! P.s. This by all means does not apply to the workers that are actually helpful and have no choice but to work there because of the economic strong hold. I would say it's been a span of about 5 months I've been comming to this location , I have seen a drastic improvement with this location.

You can definitely tell they are under New Management. Things that were water damaged falling apart unorganized or simply not stocked are COMPLETELY A NEW.

Cashiers are friendly helpful and you will always see management wandering the stores keeping things realigned and even asking if you need assistance with finding something.

It's like I've almost washed a rebirth of this store, and I feel like a proud parent simply because it's a close and convenient and with the improvement it is made my shopping needs as a mommy of three a lot easier.

Absolutely terrible management the store is disgusting and is never cleaned properly employees are very rude and are all felons so I suggest you watch your back when you're in there they will try and get over on you. One employee tried to charge me for Reese's candy bar so they could keep it when I brought this up to the manager he told me to leave the store and that he will be contacting the police to have me trespassed. I will never go back if my life depended on it. I think Family Dollar is one of the worst companies on the face...
