The Morelos groceries are the best chain. I haven't been to a bad one yet. And this one on Allisonville and 96th is no exception. I am a customer here but also do some side work on their building. Been there multiple times for weeks on end and the place is always clean, the people friendly, and the food good. It smells good and is well stocked every time I go. The meat is fresh, the produce great, and the shelves full. When I'm working on the building I go in and out through the kitchen into the alley. And the butchery, kitchen, and alley are always clean and well kept. I see them cooking and they do it right. And I barely speak Spanish. They do have employees that speak English, but even though they are always busy, they are also patient with my very poor Spanish. I'm never embarrassed to ask for things. Everyone is friendly. They have more product selections than I have seen other places, for example, relevant piñatas, fresh salsas, grocery items, numerous hot sauces, interesting flavors of tostadas, etc. Stop by next time you are around. Speak bad Spanish or bad English. Who cares. Just get good food and see for yourself. You won't regret it.

I bought Carnitas here March 5 at 2pm. When I went to reheat the pork and took my bite I noticed something weird and thought maybe it was a small bone. I pulled it out and it was a very very think wire. I noticed I had more in my bite so I spit it out in a napkin and literally counted 8 grill brush bristles in just that bite. I didn't know what they were until I compared it to the grill brush cleaner. I tried calling but their number seems to have a full mailbox. I'll try to keep contacting them so they don't injure anyone. God forbid a child swallowed that! Super disappointed since this was the closest Mexican store closest to me but I don't think I'll be returning. Just makes you wonder about the cleanliness.

I highly recommend this supermarket — even though it may seem Mexican at first, it actually offers an amazing variety of Latin American products. I always find foods and items from Honduras, Venezuela, Guatemala, El Salvador, Colombia… it’s truly outstanding! The service is great, everything is clean, well-organized, and in perfect order. It’s a pleasure to shop there!

Mister Fidel was extremely kind, professional and efficient. I called him asking if he had shaved coconuts in his store and immediately he said yes, gave us instructions of how to get there and we drove to his awesome shop. We loved his standards of quality in every aspect. Thank you for having such precious foods at your store. Es un hermoso señor! Totally recommend his place to you if you like high...
