Went to nerdin out a couple months ago and didn't have the best experience pertaining to the amount they wanted to give me however it was a mistake,,well i thought it was however i think they are scammers in my opinion..what i thought was a mistake the first time turns out to be a tactic they appear to use to lowball people .... Find out on your own but beware..know what u have and the value...I returned a couple months later with over a thousand dollars worth of merchandise to be insulted with a 200 dollar offer....I paid more than that for one lego set...Total waste of time dont bring anything to sell they will rip ya off....never will I return...I gave them good deals before and I dont know if they just thought id take 200 dollars each time,,they were mistaken.. The most hilarious part was Ashley one of the managers, she blamed the insulting offer on another manager ..Offering the 200 while holding the phone acting as if she had just gotten off the phone with a manager lol very unprofessional!!!! I'd like to know who the manager was she talked to..Was it really a different manager that said 200,or was that a part of their hustle???? guess we wont know???maybe thats why they dont have cool merch anymore at nerdin out??? Because ashleys a scammer idk ???Beware of scammers at nerdin out!! I do this for work, and boy oh boy do ya see it all !!!straight scammers !!!! Ill sell everything myself !!yall lost a good customer !!!Turns out to be even worse than I thought...I get home add everything up that they said was 400 dollars worth of merchandise turns out to be almost 1500 dollars worth of merchandise!! Ashley offered 200 dollars for everything!!!wow!!!! I felt bad because I snapped!! i dont feel so bad anymore!!!wow!!!insulting!!! insulting!!! insulting!!!!!!!wow !!! Dont go here there straight up scammers! Ashley and the middle aged gentleman who kept repeating sorry to disappoint you,,,you didnt dissappoint me you insulted me you and Ashley!!!store owner was a used car salesman ,,,says it all right there...
Read moreI was expecting more from this place, honestly. I went in there with about the same expectations I set for just about any gaming/comic shop I've gone into. However, I was disappointed. Walking into the store it is a pretty welcoming, nice and clean large open space. The issue is it seemed to be lacking some organization, I believe. All of the comics were just packed tightly in boxes with no labels to tell you what was in what box.. I had hopes of looking at the same items I always look at when in a comic shop but I had absolutely no idea where to start looking so I just gave up trying. This essentially goes for the entire store - it basically seemed like everything was out of place- you kind of had to browse through the whole store to really see everything. It would have been helpful if there were some sort of aisle markers to indicate what was on that specific wall. The place was alright but not sure if i...
Read moreThis store has a large number of Funko Pops, action figures, and other collectable figures, as well as collectable cards, a few books, and a larger gaming area. Their prices on figures & collectables seemed to be fair, however I do not generally shop for enough of these items to know if they were any better then their competition.
The selection of comics is small, but does appear to be growing. Current comics are bagged and boarded for protection, however the bag and board does cost extra. While the extra charge is a slight downer, being able to get a current run comic that hasn’t been handled and potentially damaged by several other people is a definite bonus. Back issue comics seem to be limited to mostly recent issues with a very small number of older issues from the last...
