Honestly, I'm probably being generous giving a 2star rating. I always place my orders on the app, at 4:25p today (1/18/24) it said my order was ready. I stopped at Walmart first to pick up a few things, and arrived to the restaurant at 4:45p to see no orders for online pickup and a line of about 5 people in line waiting to order and one person sitting waiting for their online order. 2 people in line left. Once all the people in line got their orders we were asked if we had online orders and I let the other person that had been waiting before me get his order started. I thought maybe someone had taken my order by mistake. Another person that ordered online came in that seemed like they were working for a delivery service. I was asked for my name on the order, was told they were out of spinach and replied I didn't order spinach and had to repeat my name because they were going to start another customer's order. Then a family of 4 came in to order in store was told to wait. Another person came in with an order issue from less than an hour ago that said they waited over 20 minutes earlier. The person waiting for their online order after me left. After about 10 minutes the family of 4 left, my 2 foot longs were still being made. Finally the other worker that was on the phone trying to fix a technical issue with the change machine the entire time stepped in to help after replenishing some ingredients and condiments when the customer with the order issue said she didn't want to have to wait over 20 minutes again. Her order was promptly fixed, and I hope she was compensated for her meal and all the hassle. At around 5:30p my order was completed and I was given a free cookie for the wait, I would have rather been offered a free beverage to sip on during my 45 minute wait that was already 20 minutes after my order was supposedly "ready". They were out of ingredients and regular Italian bread, having technical problems with the register, and clearly made other mistakes before I even made an order, not to mention the probably lost about $100 in orders that walked out the door during my time waiting. I have ordered at this location at least 4 times previously, and there's been other workers, yet it seems that there's always something wrong with my orders. Got a 6 inch instead of a foot long & had to wait for another 6 inch, wrong bread on the sandwich, sandwich toasted when it wasn't supposed to be, wrong/missing ingredients, and that's during times that were far less busy than I seen today! The owner and store manager really needs to step up and...
Read moreWe are working near this subway, so it's one of the only options to buy (aside from expensive A&W). I loved subway back in the $5 footlong days, because you actually got what you were paying for. But since then I never go back unless I have a coupon. The first time I got a sub to share with my husband, it was the oldest crustiest bread I've ever had. Literally fell apart. I thought subway baked them fresh daily? Guess not with these young kids working. Where's the manager and why don't they fix all these one star reviews, buy teaching them to build a good sub? Second time I tried the $3 chicken and cheese roll, which was so so so dry again, it had NO cheese. Maybe the tiniest sprinkle I've seen in my life. Never getting that again. Not being able to see where they start building your sub with the meat is a big red flag. Covering the glass so people can't see. Third time, was a bit better but still not subways quality like back in the day. We had a Philly cheese steak sub and it had little to no meat, not much cheese, basically no mayo, and they definitely shrunk everything to half the size it used to be. My husband was so disappointed the third time we gave them a chance, that he took three bites of his sub and that's it. We will NOT be back, to subway in general, until we see they're stepping it up and not charging an arm and a leg for the crappiest subs ever made yet. Also the pictures arent from one time, it's on separate occasions from the Inver Grove...
Read moreI usually don't write negative reviews but the treatment my partner and I received at this location by a white woman in her 50s with bad teeth had to be documented. She was so rude. She knows who she is, and I hope Subway Corporate sees this: when we both walked in, we weren't greeted, we proceeded to ask about the specials, and I am standing there waiting for quite a while before being acknowledged. Then we were told to use the app for said specials. Okay fine; we decided not to get special after seeing options were limited on the app. So then we decided that we would instead order from the counter, and got attended to by this lady in a very condescending way when we were told when asked "what cheese". I said Swiss. Then she proceeded to say "cheeses are on the sign" in a very bad tone (as if I was bothering her) "instead of sorry... we don't have Swiss ever... here are our cheese options". Then when we didn't hear her on what type of bread; she repeated it again as if we were deaf. No, we aren't deaf. No need to speak to us as if we are children. Imagine if we HAD been hard of hearing? I fear for seniors going into this location! So we decided to stop the order then and there, and left this location. We aren't spending our money where we aren't welcome. Note to said rude lady: Don't like working with guests, find a job in the back or where you don't interface...
