Catherines Boutique — Local services in Iowa City

I have been shopping here for years (from undergrad, to law school, and beyond), I'm not sure if this is just who was working, or if something else was going on, but I was not greeted or acknowledged; however, the person behind us was. I come to Iowa City shop here and Im disappointed. I know there is a sale going on, but I wouldn't recommend going on the weekends when Kara or Catherine are not there. Catherine’s has a wonderful selection and an extremely helpful staff. My husband and I were in town and only had 1 hour to shop. I asked the team to help me find what I envisioned in my mind/the vibe I was aiming for, and I was met with a fitting room full of wonderful items. I ended up buying many items they placed for me which I may not have picked on my own. I personally like a simple, high end, minimalistic style which they had plenty of selection of, but they also have eclectic pieces too for the vibrant clothing seekers. The most amazing place to shop. Prior to shoping at Catharine's I was like a lost dog when it came to shopping. This store changed it all for me, when I go in not only are the friendly and helpful they know exactly what I have bought and what the next perfect gift will be.
