What an adorable, charming shop! I believe the owner’s name is Inge (hopefully I got it right and the spelling), and there’s another woman who works there named Robin; oh my goodness was it a delight chatting with these two lovely ladies! They were so sweet and helpful. They were also unbelievably patient, as I was carrying my baby and had my quite energetic toddler with me.
We’re new to the area and were excited to visit the shop, hoping to get some things for ourselves and gifts for family. My toddler is generally well-behaved if you could believe it, but I was nervous about trying to wrangle her in a small shop with lots of tiny items she could reach. But Inge and Robin were so sweet with her! They were chatting with her, showing her cute things, sitting with her; it was just a wonderful experience all around.
The shop itself is super cozy and has a fantastic selection of books and goods, especially the books. I actually want to go back and get some more things for our home! I found the prices to be very reasonable for the quality, especially since Inge sources items from places like Italy and they’re beautifully crafted. The owner/proprietor of the store was very kind, helpful and very knowledgeable about the different books and greeting cards I was looking for. She took the time to answer any questions I had.
