The only real upsides to this store is the location being downtown/ close to college students and their general clientele and the decently sized selection of items to purchase. However, everything is incredibly overpriced to where a crystal or stone the size of your fingertip will cost you from around $5 and upwards. Many that I saw that size were as expensive as $35. Tarot cards also appear (from the prices written, not on the back) to have an increased price of around $6-20 dollars. Honestly, I should have taken pictures. They had slurs on some products against Romani people. Additionally, I am unsure as to how they get dreamcatchers and some other products, but it rubs me the wrong way they are there (some items more outwardly offense towards Indigenous peoples) without any sort of sign or description detailing where they get those items. All in all, beginning practitioner or not, do not buy from this shop. It isnāt worth it in any capacity. I certainly wonāt be returning, and I wonāt recommend it to anyone I know either. The organization of crystals were also off, with some other types being mixed in with another (differently priced) and the prices in general being muddled (especially since you are expected to calculate it all yourself). Save yourself a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI preferred going to prism scapes over Om as the environment felt much more natural/comfortable over Om. I canāt put my finger on it but the atmosphere here feels off. It also doesnāt help that it feels as if Iām being treated like Iām stealing when Iām not. I get protecting your business and having signs up, a bag daycare, etc. however it just feels very off putting. That being said I donāt think Iāll be visiting this store again. I gave it another shot and I still get this off feeling. I wish prisms scape didnāt move from their Iowa city location.
I also bought a bead ājadeā stretch bracelet. Iāll be honest, I didnāt know real jadeite can be expensive, hard to source a genuine seller, hard to buy due to sizing and so on. It rubs me a little wrong that there are in-genuine crystals/stones in this shop which makes me question the integrity of their other pieces.
Upon researching more about jade I took off my āJadeā bracelet I had purchased from here and worn religiously on my left wrist and threw it aside. I feel this piece actually did more harm than good. It likely blocked my energy and the intention I had for it. I canāt blame anyone but myself for not knowing better but now I do. If you see āJadeā for $25, donāt. Question even the more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of my favorite local shops. Iāve been to many metaphysical shops (Here, and in Georgia.) I can say for sure this is one of my most beloved. I frequent this shop whenever Iām looking to incorporate Crystals, Candles, In(Scents), Jewelry, & Plants ETC.. into my workings. Iāve also found some great gifts for loved ones here as well. A former worker here actually connected me, and the lady who took over my lease: allowing me to pursue a job opportunity. The owner: Jeet is a very nice individual with a beautiful spirit. She, as well as her associates are always approachable, and will kindly offer direction/ assistance locating what you may be searching for. There are many beautiful works of arts and, crafts here: definitely a shop worth checking out whether you adore beautiful things, or youāre searching for tools to incorporate into your practices: whatever that...
