Tree? What tree? You would never know that there was a 35 foot tall Leland Cyprus in our backyard that turned orange in what seemed like an overnight death due to an undiagnosed beetle that likely suffocated it. We have a Gardner who had performed all tree trimming for us in the past albeit not well and there were always casualties in the form of surrounding landscaping, plants, and furniture/trampolines being damaged or broken. This definitely called for a professional since this tree was located in direct view from the street and was close enough to the house that it provided shade. One wrong cut could sent a branch into my house or definitely into the neighbor's yard it was complicated and not just anyone would be able to do the job. I began my search looking for the local services whose trucks I had seen around town, Travers and Bennett, Wow! Both of those company's reviews were sub-par at a measly 3.0 - 3.2 stars out of 5 stars with laundry lists of negative comments. Google kept pulling up 3-D Tree Services, Inc. with over 162 reviews and a 99.94% positive rating (yes, there's one in there but you can't please everyone, people, especially the unappeasable). Anyway, I made the call, spoke with the owner, Robert, who was efficient and who was able to provide a reasonable quote to me in minutes based on photos from my phone that I sent to him of the tree from different angles. His quote was admittedly compelling off the bat, however I was just starting my search so I continued looking. I wasted a solid couple of hours of my life before circling back to 3D Tree Service. We booked the appt for 3 days later (he could've come sooner but I had a scheduling conflict that he was able to accommodate). In the meanwhile, Robert sent me 3-D Tree Service's Instagram profile which I studied revealing the bonafide superb service I would be receiving in a few days: guys up in trees that were taller than multi-story buildings cutting branches almost the size of my whole tree that they would harness to ropes to keep the world below safe. I was excited! I kept thinking, "HOW did I find this company from just a little google search??" Armando and 4 workers arrived on the scene 3 minutes before 8:00AM on our appointment day. They moved the Restoration Furniture below quickly and carefully, and they went to work. It was kind of incredible to watch them up in the tree doing their thing - cutting, trunking, mulching their trucks were huge and they worked so well together - they didn't skip a beat. It was like watching Tree-d'Soleil, ha ha. There were zero casualties, definitely not their first rodeo, and the place was cleaned up as if nothing had ever happened. Even my son came home from school and walked through the back gate and said, "Wow... it's like the tree was never there". Amen to that! Although we are sad that it had to happen, we are so grateful that it introduced us to 3-D Tree Services, Inc. We have a lot of trees and foliage on our property and now we have a legit service to help us keep it all in control quickly, efficiently, reasonably, and respectfully. I received 3 quotes from 3 highly rated tree trimming companies. All were similarly priced. I chose 3-D Tree Trimming Inc. Robert's communication skills and extra training as an arborist gave me confidence the job would be done right. I had many questions about the proper care and trimming of my trees. He was very patient and I greatly appreciated his advice. His guys arrived on time and went right to work. Mark and Carlos were friendly and enthusiastic. You could tell they took their job very seriously. Mark explained what they were doing and shared a lot of good information with me. Carlos was a Master at making messy trees look like artwork. Robert made sure the work was done in a way to optimize the health of all the different trees in my yard. The clean up was done well. There was a sprinkler line broken while grinding 2 fifty year old juniper stumps. I honestly don't see a way it could have been avoided. I contacted Robert late that night. He let me know his gardener would fix it between 8-9 today. I was getting ready to greet the gardener when I received a text from Robert at 7:30am informing me that the job was complete with pic's of how it was done. I walked outside, and was blown away. I have an entire row of Ficus trees growing along the fence line of my property. Over the years, they grew out of control, pushing up the concrete pathway beside my house, and even getting into the power lines. Something needed to be done!

I’m so glad I chose 3-D Tree Services. I submitted a quote request late on a Friday night, and Robert (Senior) called me back first thing the next morning. By Saturday, Robert (Junior) was at my property to provide a quote. I decided to trim the trees down to the fence line, which will make taking them out completely more manageable, and something I can do gradually on my own to save on expenses. The pricing to trim the trees down to the fence was very reasonable. It included haul away, and they were able to schedule the work for that Wednesday.

On the day of service, Jose, Heriberto, and Javier arrived within 30 minutes of the scheduled time. They worked efficiently and professionally, and even made sure to clean up thoroughly when they were done. The entire job was completed in the exact time they estimated, about six hours.
