I purchased my MacBook February 13th, 2023. I received the product and was satisfied until one of the letters came off (not from misuse) and the keys were sticking (no liquid damage had/has occurred). Keyboard issues are known for the 2017 model and possibly the early 2015, which is the model I have. I reached out to JemJem per the warranty and she was willing to help me. I did not get a chance to send my MacBook in. When I reached out again, I communicated with Conrado. Conrado was not as pleasant to communicate because of the way he communicated the information without seeing the Macbook. He insisted that the keyboard malfunction was physical damage, but i informed him that this was not physical damage. Conrado directed me to GeekSquad who told me they could not help me, and that the keyboard was physical damage, but said that JemJem should cover the keyboard. When I emailed JemJem back, he told me physical damage was not covered. I just would like my keyboard fixed so i could fully use my device. Unfortunately, JemJem has not answered the phone, and I am left unsatisfied. Hopefully, the issue will be fixed. Read moreI purchased a laptop via Best Buy back in September. Little did I know, they use other companies to sell their refurbished products. JemJem is in fact one of the companies. Since I originally purchased my laptop two months ago, I have received two defective laptops from JemJem. I am not sending the second laptop back in hopes that I receive a working laptop from them. Every time I ship to them I have to wait at least 7 business days for the return to be processed, and then at least another 7 business days for them to issue an exchange. So far I have not gotten any guarantees from them that the third laptop will work as expected.
As far as I'm concerned, their service is extremely untrustworthy. I do not recommend buying any refurbished product from this company, especially a MacBook. From other reviews I've read, many others have had the same...
Read moreI bought a refurbished iPhone 7 from them on amazon. The phone arrived quickly. When I got it it had multiple songs down to the medal. It seemed to work good but within a day it Kept going to no service and had to be restarted. Sometimes more then once. The camera had a wobble that made some pictures come out blurry. Customer service was quick to respond and send me an rma number and return shipping label. My one issue is that it took 4 days to get back to them. It started at being 2 days for them to be able to evaluate the phone to send me a replacement and now it’s up to at least 5 days before they can even look at the old phone. So after that I’ll have to wait another 3-4 days to get the phone. And all this time I’m without any form of communication. Seems like a long time to wait. Not so sure I’ll buy...
