Truly great mentors who care about the community. As a UCI alum I really didn't think much of the education at UCI or any other universities — I firmly believe in continuous self-education — and even with UCI's #1 ranking in best value I still didn't think UCI played a significant role in the success of my professional career. This all changed when my team got into the Wayfinder Incubator. Just this month alone our early-stage startup has saved $100k in cash because of this program. My entire team is now thanking me for being an alumnus of UCI. We believe the intangible knowledge and resources bestowed upon us by the industry veterans here will be worth at least 7 digits to the startup in just the next several years, not to mention what it does to personal growth....

Was very excited about the opening of this place, but since then, have found it uninviting and not inclusive. Events there are fine, but as an entrepreneurial environment, it seems far less interested in being a part of the community. It's worthless unless you're part of UCI.
