Arroyo Park — Attraction in Newport Beach

Considering I have grown up in Newport and have spent many days at Arroyo Park, I will never go back again after today’s experience. I had a horribly rude interaction with the park rangers who threatened me a citation and requested my ID, all because I was throwing my dog a ball off the leash. Random pick to celebrate my mom's birthday halfway between SD and LA, so Newport Beach it was! We couldn't have been happier to come to Arroyo Park. Great park that is never crowded. Lots of landscape workers there all the time. The are running the huge mowers over the field daily sinking the tires in and making mud. Hello. Grass doesn't grow that fast. Good place to see these guys guy doing a whole lot of nothing. Basketball, baseball and play area for small kids. Good hiking trails...
