University Park Center — Local services in Irvine

University Park Center is anchored by the Wholesome Choice Market, an ethnic market that offers a wide range of products including kosher and halal meats and many Persian foods. There is a bakery that makes fresh Sangac and other breads. There are also fresh pastries and cakes, coffee and atea plus prepared foods from many cuisines available to eat there or to take out. The Center also has fast food and fast casual restaurants, a donut shop, an optical shop, a specialty shoe store, an Ace Hardware a Starbucks as a Rite Aid drugstore. In addition to the retail shops, there's a bank, medical and dental offices plus a Chevron gas station.

This little mall has a nice international Persian / European food market. One of the specialties is fresh baked bread and the light is usually out the door but it's pretty quick. Persian flatbread is very popular and delicious. The vegetables are really fresh. This place gets packed, prices were very reasonable. There is also a food court like you would not believe! Greek food, Asian, Chinese, Persian, You name it! The deli section has an incredible variety of cheeses and hummus Meats and chicken are also reasonable. Definitely one of my favorite stores. This shopping center was filled with all kinds of international food choices. Be sure to stop by the deli for a quick bite to eat. There are several choices that reminded us of our travels on the past. Double check the receipts to make sure you are overcharged/double charged for items. We were billed an extra $30.00 for something unknown and the customer behind us was also overcharged. Luckily the assistant store manager was only a few steps away, and he corrected the problem on the spot...
