Subway — Restaurant in Irvine

Since I am vegetarian, I have been a big fan of subway all my life. Subway has always been one of my top picks for vegetarian food. However, when I went to get a sandwich this morning from this location, my opinion about Subway changed greatly. This has happened multiple times, but I ignored it the first couple occasions because I believe in second chances. However, I have given the employees at this location second chances after second chances. I used to go to the Subway in Crossroads plaza, but it closed down. Now, I have to go to this new location with very rude employees. The two Latino men working their shift were rude and sarcastic. I asked for a Veggie Delite and they questioned me as if they thought I was joking about getting a vegetarian sandwich. Since the Veggie Delite is on the menu, I don’t see why it should be such an issue that I am ordering one. If it is such a big deal, why don’t you just take it off the menu? Then, he did something that crossed my limits. I asked him to change his gloves since he had touched meat while helping the other customer. Rather than taking just a brief second to switch his gloves, he replied to my question with an impolite and blunt tone: “Too late.” How hard is it to change your gloves? The word is wow! I love the hours that they carry, customer service was exquisite believe me when I tell you I've been through other Subway's, nothing like this one for the simple reason that I am mute. Nobody knew that but the person who helped me unfortunately I didn't get to see her name tag, she was great she did a great job great customer service. I have to admit for being late as we went everything was still fresh fresh tomatoes diced up fresh lettuce diced up, clean & clean you can dine dine out pre-order and pick up or just walk in order the thing is it was a very nice experience I love how polite and upbeat they were I recommend this place it may not seem a lot but it is great compared to other Subway's that I've been now they do not have a restroom in their facility but they are surrounded by other businesses like gas station grocery store by the way the parking is right in front of the facility you don't walk that far...

I came in tonight to pick up a order for a delivery app. The gentleman at the counter basically ignored me and the poor girl behind the counter was rushing around doing things and let me know that she was currently working on my pick up. As she was beginning the sandwiches the guy behind the counter saw that three other people came into the store so he just left and walked outside and sat in front of the store playing on his phone. Obviously it must’ve been time for his break, but I don’t think she appreciated him leaving her in the store like that alone. She tried her very best with her customer service but I felt very bad for her. As I received my order and went to my car I noticed three more people enter the store.
