The Terrace at Rancho San Joaquin — Restaurant in Irvine

Horrible horrible service we experienced today that the owner should be aware of. 4 of us went here for my coworker's day and the server never came. We tried to get her attention as she was walking towards us and I asked excuse me and waved my hand but she totally ignored us. She went to other tables and got their empty dish then as she was walking back to the kitchen, we waved and finally was able to speak to her. We told her we were ready to order (after waiting at least 15 minutes) and she said she would be back..then she came back to take our order and my worker was already upset at how rude she was so asked me to order first but I told her to go ahead and order first then the server told us "you are not even ready and told me to come??" Then she walked away and left us. This happened during lunch time around 12:45p today and the manager or the owner should have a talk with her. The Terrace is a great find! Very nice atmosphere Indoor and outdoors! I’ve been here for a taco Tuesday such a great bargain and the food is delicious. I have been here for lunch and appetizers and drinks with the girls. Just went to a wine tasting last night (6.7.25) and the experience was beyond wonderful! Athena, the bar manager, really created a fun, great wine tasting experience for us! Plus, we purchased the wine at exclusive prices! The pours were nice and plentiful and each food pairing tasted so good! We were even treated to an extra wine that was not on the menu along with a dessert! Everyone was a pleasure to speak with. Johnny, the Justin host, was informative and my friend drooled over him! We hope that we get to experience other wine tastings here! And we will be there on Tuesday night for Tacos!...

My boys always come here for golf. Never visited the cafe before or didn’t realised if there was even a cafe here before renovations . I think it was just a quick snack bar serving burgers and dogs. Found out it was reopened after renovations. Went here for brunch. I’m glad Rancho renovated this place and the menu is excellent, you wanna try everything. I’m definitely gonna come back. The Cast Iron Kimchi Fried rice is my new favourite! Next time I’m gonna asked for extra egg. We sat outside overlooking the course and of course it was a perfect weather so we love the views.
