The customer service in the work is there are excellent, But there’s been multiple occasions where this fake security guard has followed me around the store multiplication just watching me not saying anything(Mind you he’s not an asshole security guard. He’s a fake security for the store cause he don’t have a badge. He don’t have a vest that’s in security nothing). But it’s like multiple explications where he’ll be creep up behind me trying to look over in my car to see if I’m stealing or not and I realize at that point he was just picking because it’ll be times I come to the store with my own cart and then times that I don’t have a cart and I’ll pick a cart out From the store. so I noticed that he will follow around the store, but wouldn’t make it so noticeable where I could say something to him but at the same time I’m still respectful. I’ll still go about my day went shopping went in and out the store because I didn’t want no problems. I went in the store today to get a couple of items and I had my same buggy mind you nobody told me it was not OK for me to not have the buggy or bring the buggy around cause most people do it so it’s been occasions where he would pick at me, but I didn’t say anything because I’m not thinking all this man is just trying to create problems cause it was incident. He asked me oh you got them items from the store and I was like yes do you want to see my receipt no issues Other workers asked me did I get them from another store and I showed them receipt because there’s no issue especially if I got it from another store so I leave and forget that I was supposed to get ice so I come back in the store for to go to the ice aisle and I hear somebody yelling and screaming so I turn my head and I’m like I don’t know what’s happening so I keep going not thinking and think of it because the man is far away from me and in my mind I’m not thinking he’s yelling at me so he follows me around and it’s like oh you can’t have that you can’t have the buggy you can’t have the buggy you gotta take it to the front you gotta take us to the front. I said what are you talking about? He said you know you already know I said, sir I don’t know nothing and nobody told me nobody ever told me I can’t ride around with the buggy, I’ve been in the store multiple times and I said to him at this point you pick it you’re picking and you’ve been following me around in the store multiple occasions And so he’s following me to the front and I was just like I don’t want no issues so I just walked out didn’t say nothing and he’s yelling and screaming as I’m leaving the store just yell yelling mind you he’s never spoken to me only that one time when he asked me Did I get those items from another store so for him to say oh you already know the Drill. He was. I’m like he was just so disrespectful for him to not even know who I am. It’s a way to do things and I was not the way , especially to somebody’s child. He’s a grown man guaranteed that I’m grown too, but I’m freshly grown. It is not a way to treat nobody. So if anybody knows the owner or manger of this store let me know because the way he acted...
   Read moreAdmittedly I am not the person in our family that usually does the grocery shopping but I stopped in for a few fresh fruits and vegetables. The quality of the produce I purchased was definitely better than average. However, correct pricing at the register seems to ALWAYS be an issue with this grocery store chain. There are two in my area and each time I go to either one there is a discrepancy in advertised price versus what they actually attempt to charge at the checkout counter. I felt bad for my cashier because I could not make my complaint clear to her due to language barrier. And the young lady with the override key, who spoke both English and Spanish, yelled at her as if it was her fault that the computers never seem to have the appropriate sale price, especially on the first day of the sale. The whole experience has me pondering on what it may be like for the large demographic of customers who use these two markets and may be new to the US. If I couldn't read or speak English that well would I be aware that the prices were not correct for my particular products? My feeling is that this is an ethical glitch City Market should address. While City Market provides employment opportunity and cultural food choices for diverse populations someone needs to ensure that computer registers are programed appropriately, correctly, and in a timely manner. And no employee should publicly berate another in any language. Teaching a large Spanish speaking population has made me keenly aware of the insults even when I can't directly translate what was said, besides the cashier's body language said it all. I almost wish I had just paid the error price rather than witness her being mistreated and disrespected about a computer error that was beyond her control.    Read moreThey are very irresponsible about customer heatlh. I found paper and a black meat in the turkey meat for the 4 times already. It's obvious they mixing the meat with paper and others animals organs to make the meat heavier because turkey meat is not black also I bought a white sauce and it was expired, when they supposed to check the dates in their products constantly plus there is a cashier called sthephanie which is always talking in creole and not even say hi to customers, it look like she is no even there. So disrespectful. Once she said on creole that we have too many stuff and she hope we don't go to her register but she ain't realize that my hisband speak creole..... Too many issues in just one place. Unfortunately is the only supermarket close to my house... ... Be careful when buying here, especially meat. Always...
