Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Irvington

Im only giving 2 stars because of lil miss braces. Let her stay in the back away from customer if she doesn't know how to talk to them!!!! I get there I see a bunch of kids in Popeyes uniform running out to a car. They still had there gloves on, got a little kid out the car and came back in. Still with their gloves on. I then place my order with Alicia who was very pleasant and helpful. It was her that was taking the orders the guy that was frying the chicken and some other female there in regular cloths oh and one of the kids that still had her gloves on from goin outside getting the little kid. I told the the female with the regular clothes to tell the kid that had braces on to take her gloves off and lil miss thang got a little nasty. I said nothing wrong I was just concerned that she was going to try and serve food with those same gloves on. When she left the floor the gloves should have been taking off then not after she was in and out of the store and a customer had to say something about it. She needs and attitude adjustment if you ask me. In my day I'd dare not speak to an adult the way she called herself talking to me. These KIDS really need to learn respct!!!!! On another note Alicia made sure my food was fresh and hot and I got exactly what I asked for with no problem...

People i can't talk about all these other negative reviews, but I have been coming here for almost 2 months on my lunch break with my employees and I don't find nothing negative to say. From the moment you walk in if it's not busy they great you nicely and are ready to serve you with a smile. I only drink water when i go there they went the extra mile to get me a water instead of telling me like other places that say we dont have any or we dont serve water. They explain things and specials and give me ideas when ordering which Is great. The young lady in the front register is so nice my fellow co-workers even say let's get lunch at the same time same place because how nice it is here. People got to keep in mind it's a fast food business and as insit here I see over 20+ customers walk in order and walk out within 20 minutes with there food. So Idk why some people are just up here lying or are in a bad mood. If ya don't wanna go to this location o we'll thays on you but ima keep coming back. The only negative thing I believe is that the workers are under paid to deal with all these attitudes from entitled people. That young girl at the register needs a raise or use her as an example for retraining there...

I gave 1 star only because it was the only way to leave a review. I've never been more ashamed of my people than I have today visiting this particular location on Mill Rd. The word "Ghetto" will not suffice and is too nice in describing the atmosphere. I wasn't sure if it was a restaurant, daycare or hangout spot. A toddler was running in the back to the kitchen area eating a biscuit, staff calling eachother lazy, Pants sagging displaying boxer briefs on the utility guy, as well as the unnecessary attitudes from every female employee aided in my decision to write this review. And let's not forget waiting over 30 minutes for only chicken and fries. Clearly everyone, especially the manager does not know the meaning of hospitality and the effectiveness of providing great customer service. When you know better, you do better. Such a disappointing...
