I can't believe I waited so long to go here, yes COVID, but before that. Its one of those stores that get almost outdated food from stores, or a brand changes their labels or packaging, and they sell them here. They have a sheet to explain all that. I've heard they take some returns on perishables.
The discounts can be pretty awesome. They only allow so many people in the store at one time, aisles are narrow, one person per aisle. Everyone must wear a mask.
The products change often. The produce can be hit or miss, but always worth checking everytime. I've scored dirt cheap blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries; perfect for those who want to make jam. The seedless watermelon was great. I was worried about them sitting outside on pallets in the sun, but they were fine, sweet and firm flesh. The tomatoes and peppers were better and cheaper than the farmers market.
I've purchased cheap hot chocolate mix, coffee, drink mixes and cereals. They carry some basic pantry items like various canned goods, dried beans, a few spices, Jello, condiments, but again, it varies everytime I go here. I bought a normally expensive rice blend here, for half the price I paid for at Walmart a few months ago. The refrigerator case is well stocked with various dairy, lettuce and beverages. Expensive yogurt was a few dollars for a whole case! They have another refrigerator case with meats and cheeses. A freezer with pizzas and meats, and bulk meats, I'm guessing usually used in restaurants. Decent prices for stocking your freezer. They had bread, crackers, limited pet supplies, sweet treats and chips too, but again, the selection always varies.
It's a store worth checking out to save some money and not walk a city block to get to the refrigerator case. Wear your mask! Thank you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have so many good things to say about this business, I donāt even know where to begin! Iāll start off by saying this is absolutely my favorite store. The selection, variety, prices, quality, & customer service is unbeatable! There is fresh and affordable produce (which is always changing, I get to try new fruits and vegetables that I could never afford before). The salad kits they get are amazing and only a few dollars max. Thereās always new kinds of meat, cheese, dairy products, and frozen meals to try too! Sometimes they get food service size portions of things too so this is the perfect place to feed a large family. The staff there is always smiling! They are accommodating and helpful, and always go above and beyond since the very first time I shopped there. Nick & Drews truly is a hidden gem, and if youāve never been in before, I highly suggest you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family got food poisoning from the strawberry Yoplait yogurt!!! My wife had to be hospitalized due to the severity of it. I know it's from your yogurt, because I went to bat for your store and ate the yogurt after she fell ill to prove it was not that! A day later I'm vomiting my guts out here! Food dates are there for a reason and this yogurt is 3 weeks expired! We still have a cup of it in the fridge if the owners feel like testing their product!! I am telling everyone to never shop here because it is unsafe!! A whole grocery store run based on picking up old scraps that should never be on the shelf! I am ashamed that I actually thought your food was safe...
