My wife says the coffee is pretty good. Although, our (inside) visit was less than impressive. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 2 small children. Our order was not ridiculous, 3 sandwiches, a scone, and a cinnamon roll with my wife's coffee. To find they only offered one type of bread and one type of cheese was weird. Two of the three sandwiches (breakfast bagels) arrived pretty quickly, the third sandwich took over 10 minutes to come out (I thought it was forgotten about). The sandwich took so long to get, that most of our party was done eating their sandwiches and I was about seconds away from asking for my money back (for that sandwich). My lunch sandwich (the late one) was a great dissatisfaction. For the $9.00 that I paid for the sandwich I received a $4.00 meal (at best). To receive two thin slices of turkey and a thin salami with a piece of cheese (what a RIP-off) it looked like nothing was even on it (I should have taken a picture of it to post it). To finish off the meal, we were on our way out the door (with small children on our hip) the lady asked for us to return to our table to bus our dishes REALLY. The interior was nice, and the tables are tiny for a party of 4. Our family will not return here, that type of service does not deserve our business. You...
Read moreI love, LOVE this coffee shop! I feel so lucky to have this business in our community, the service & selection is always great. This is a family owned business, and their coffee is on par with, if not better than, the big coffee chains. They roast their own beans on site, and you can even buy them! The atmosphere is Up North cabin, multiple seating rooms and a nice outdoor covered deck out back. This is a great place to hang out, pre-COVID; hosting occasional open book clubs, musicians and artists. I'm high risk, so I can only use the drive thru now, but I can't wait to see the new addition someday. The staff are always patient, courteous, helpful, fast and accurate. If you drive thru Lindstrom, you owe it to yourself to stop here, it's on the West bound lane of Hwy 8, on the West side of downtown.
I like the smoothies, coffee cake, muffins and various coffee drinks. My favorite food item is the tomato basil breakfast bagel sandwich, with a sausage patty, egg and gouda cheese. Thank goodness they cut it in half, to share or eat for another meal, because it's big! My favorite beverage is the dirty Chai, hot or cold.
Thank you...
Read moreYesterday morning I left this establishment with zero coffee in hand. The two ladies working the counter had me stand in line (by myself) for a straight 5 minutes and didn’t say a single word to me. They were slow. Rung up the drive-thru customer. Looked at me. And then just stood there and talked with one other. Watch the cameras if you happen to not believe me (if you have them). I go out of my way to patronize this coffee shop and this is the second time this has happened. I was more than patient but the lack of communication was extremely rude. Not even a “hello”. Eye contact was made multiple times. Am I invisible? Wearing a BRIGHT blue jacket that astronauts could see from outter space. This time I walked out. Disgusting service. Not to mention the drive thru is horrible as well. Last time I was in the drive thru I waited 15-20 min. Update : seems odd to pay extra for a “Large” coffee only to have them leave 1.5 inches of space from the top. See photo. I hadn’t taken a sip yet. I’m done with this shop. Using my rewards and then not going back. I do not recommend. This place is going to really struggle if another coffee shop opens...
