Plenty Boutique — Local services in Isla Vista

Ugh. I have had the worst experience with this boutique. BEWARE of ordering online! I purchased four Spell items, and TWO arrived damaged. One had a giant snag that extends halfway across the front. The other has a busted seam. When I contacted their store, they directed me to the store manager Rebecca. She stated that once the items arrives they no longer take responsibility......WHAT?! And because "it didn't have any stains or holes" it wasn't considered "damaged". She also tried to pin the damage on me, as if I "could have worn it". Funny, as I was out of town, showed her my travel receipts, and contacted the store the moment I opened and noticed the damage. Now I am out $400, and have to PAY myself to return the items for, guess what, store credit, and involve my credit card company. Like I want to buy more items from them, have them not arrive BRAND new, and have to go through this all over again....

I asked the lady working there if the rings they were selling would tarnish or make my finger green and she promised me it wouldn’t or they would return my money. I asked again like three more times just to be sure cus I dont live in the area and she said she had one for almost a year and it was completely fine, etc. Paid $45 for this ring and I take it off that same day only to find my finger had a green circle around it. What a scam, I’ve bought $15 jewelry...
