At first, things went well. Two of our refrigerator doors were damaged during delivery but not by A1, but by the delivery people. A1 is the only local GE dealer in the FL Keys and they were contacted by GE to replace our doors. First set came in damaged-from shipping again not from A1. Second set came in and were okay so they replaced them. An hour after leaving the circuit breaker popped and the ice maker would not work. They came back, after having to go through GE again, and they assessed the situation. They came back a fourth time with a mother board and new ice maker stating that was the problem. Same thing, an hour after they leave the breaker trips. The issue was that every time the ice maker got cold enough to make ice, it would attempt to start but there was a short in that circuit within the door. A1 couldn't figure this out nor would they articulate that to GE after I told them that's what the issue was. I then had to start chasing A1 to get this fixed but they were less than responsive. Finally they emailed me and stated that GE wanted them to get a second opinion from another dealer. I then called GE myself and discovered that was a complete lie. I specfically asked GE if they ever request that a dealer get a 'second opinion' and they said they never do that. In the end, A1 lied to me about the direction they were given from GE and they weren't technically savvy enough to actually troubleshoot the issue. I knew what the issue was but they were unwilling to convey that to GE. You're lucky to get a response back from A1 within 24 hours. They hardly ever answer the phone becuase they state they are on the phone with other customers. They schedule through an automated system rather than a person calling you so good luck if they time doesn't work for you. All of these issues and them lying to me makes them a less than desireable company to do...

   Read moreCalled them to move new washer and dryer from one place to another. They charged $100 to come and verify the move could be made and then after the fact the closet door would not close and they didn’t calculate the base board. Now I have an additional expense to change out the door or not have a door where normally there is one. After they left we turned on the washer and water leaked all over the floor, they’re suppose to be the experts but have no idea why a new machine is leaking! Shocking, what am I paying for????
