AquaBlue Adventures Sandbar Charter & Boat Tours - Islamorada — Attraction in Islamorada

This company is amazing from start to finish! First of all we had to be flexible because it was a windy day. We upgraded and paid extra for the Pontoon boat but had to downgrade. I never said anything about getting my money back for the difference, I was going to leave it alone. But they were SO honest and reached out to me and gave me a refund for the difference without asking. I LOVE businesses that are that honest. We had an absolutely amazing time with Captain D. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, skilled with the boat, and flexible to our needs (our age range was 6.5-70 years old). He was awesome with our 6.5 year old daughter. Customer service for planning was prompt, helpful, specific details for prep and we appreciated the cash price offered. It was entertaining, the snorkeling spot had a good diversity of species, we had our own music to play through Bluetooth from our phones, and Captain D put out plenty of floaties and water toys to occupy our time at the sandbar. We did the Multi-half day/4hr sandbar tour with the added snorkel. The provided the snorkel equipment as needed for our party. Excellent small company out of Islamorada and would use them again in a heartbeat. We compared them to another rental company in Key West Area and decided to go with AquaBlue and we are so happy...

I’ll start off by saying that we went on three private boat trips on our vacation and this was by far the best one! We booked last minute and they were able to accommodate us no problem. We did a three hour cruise which included snorkeling and a visit to the sandbar. We started out at Hens and Chicken Reef, which was beyond amazing. It may have been the time of year, but it was like we were the only ones there! There was so much to explore and so much wildlife to see, it was unforgettable. Kyle, our boat captain, went above and beyond as well. He was so knowledgeable about the fish we were seeing, gave us tips on how to swim deeper underwater and even brought along his drone to capture the most amazing photos and videos of my family snorkeling. We ended our trip at the sandbar, where Kyle set up some paddle boards and water pad for us to use while we relaxed after snorkeling. The sandbar was great because it gave us an opportunity to unwind in the warm water with other people, music and even a food truck/boat to grab snacks. There truly was something for everyone on this trip. My only regret is that we didn’t book a longer cruise! I will absolutely book this again on our next trip...

We booked last minute and Clair was able to assist us efficiently and professionally. She sent us detailed info and told us everything we would need to do to have the best experience. Before we left our hotel, we received a confirmation text and greeting from the captain. He confirmed our trip and assured us the weather was good. We arrived at the parking location and we’re promptly greeted with a smile by captain Booker. He was helpful with getting our waters and snacks/food onto the boat and asked us if we had any questions about the day ahead. He calmly and efficiently got the boat off and running and we took a smooth ride to a local sand bar. He anchored the boat and we enjoyed a beautiful day on a sand bar. Food trucks pulled up to purchase food and we enjoyed our own items as well.

Captain Booker continued to make sure we were happy throughout our entire trip. He was helpful, friendly and made the entire experience extremely memorable.
