We always have a great time with Capt. Mike! I have used his charter services in the past and this year I booked two charters with him while in Islamorada with my family. Capt. Mike picked us up at the resort we were staying at for our sunset cruise and took us to all of his spots for opportunities to see manatees, nurse sharks and even some of the settings where the show Bloodline was filmed. People in our group are Canadian so it was real treat for them getting to see the wildlife. Mike is a fantastic host ensuring we are safe, having a good time and enjoying the beauty that is the Keys. He ensured we are all safe, have what we need, captures candid photos and offered to take group sunset photos. We especially loved his fresh cut pineapple and taste in music. We then chartered with him later on in the week to go snorkel and out to the sandbar. This was one of my favorite days of our vacation. He brought us out to an epic lighthouse, and we had the place to ourselves. Provides cleaner for your snorkel mask (this was HUGE to me) and helps get your gear on. He directed us on where to snorkel, what to look for and even threw fish food in the water so we had a real-life aquarium right in front of our eyes. At the sandbar, he set us up with paddleboards and big floating mats. Capt. Mike is knowledgeable, customer service focused, professional and an all-around down to earth guy and we enjoyed his company very much so. I look forward to booking with Capt. The Best Day Ever with Captain Mike!

From the very beginning, everything was easy and smooth. Captain Mike was awesome with communication and made us feel welcome right away. He took the time to tell us a little about himself, and by the end of the trip, we felt like we’d known him forever.

He gave us tons of options for things to do, making sure to keep our little ones (2 and 4 years old) in mind the whole time. He pointed out cool sights, shared recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area, and made the whole experience feel super personal.

Our favorite part of the day was the Islamorada sandbar—it’s a spot we love, and Captain Mike made it even better. He anchored us in a perfect spot, got in the water with us, and really went above and beyond. He helped my son paddleboard and even took him to the ice cream boat to grab a treat (my son was in heaven). He introduced us to his friends at the sandbar, and they were so sweet—they treated my son like part of the crew, which was just the cutest thing ever.

And as if the day wasn’t already perfect, on the way back to the marina, Captain Mike played Moana songs for my son (and sang along!). He was so thoughtful and fun the entire trip.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day. We’re already planning to book another charter with Captain Mike, and we’ve been telling all our friends in Sarasota to do the same. If you want an unforgettable day on the water, Captain Mike...

Our family of 5, (two teen boys 19, 15 and 10yo daughter) were vacationing in Miami and decided to visit the Keys while there. I found MyKeys Tours on Instagram and searched for reviews. All 5 ⭐️! And for a very good reason. Capt. Mike is awesome! He made the trip enjoyable for ALL of us. He’s retired from the US Coast Guard after serving for 19 years, so safety is his #1 priority. It was a bit windy and the water was somewhat choppy, but I knew we were in good hands. Snorkeling at Cheeca Rock was amazing. My youngest was a bit apprehensive about getting in the water but Mike was very patient with her and stayed by her, as did I, the entire time. He let her float above the water on his wake board while he pulled her around so that she could still see all of the cool things under water. Who else would do that? We did a 4hour tour, and he never rushed us at any time trying to get to the next thing on the itinerary. He allowed us to snorkel and explore until we were ready to go. The Sandbar was great! Capt. Mike engaged the boys and my husband with a game of Skip Ball, then they threw around a frisbee and of course a football. My daughter spent her time (close to 3 hours) searching the area for seashells and coral to take home as souvenirs. Capt. Mike even moved the boat so that she could continue her search for shells where his boat had been! I didn’t see any other captains out there paying as much attention to their patrons as Capt. Mike did to us. It truly was the highlight of our trip! As my daughter said, “Best day ever!” ...
