Come dine here!! The service first and foremost was a 10/10! Our servers name was Lauren and she was exceptional! She was attentive and there when we needed her and just over all had great customer service! This was my husbands birthday dinner and I’m glad we came here. For apps we ordered the grilled shrimp and coconut shrimp. They were both cooked to perfection the coconut shrimp was well seasoned and cooked to perfection dipped in the sweet chili sauce it’s just delightful! The grilled shrimp was served on a sizzling platter over a bed of white corn. The combination was immaculate! (These were actually so good I didn’t take a picture because I forgot 😅) for an entree we got the small sushi boat with the spicy tuna the Island Grill, the rolls lacked nothing at all they were fresh and everything you would want from such fresh sushi. I paired these with my favorite drink a bloody marry. The way the bartender made this drink made me want to cry it was so good. And to finish the meal, we got the house made key lime pie and the fudge brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Take it from a seasoned foodie - the Island Grill in Islamorada, FL is an absolute gem! Picture this: a scenic drive from Key West to Key Largo punctuated by a pitstop for a whole snapper craving. We were hooked at first bite.

The Grill sat nestled in nature's embrace, with manatees and sharks putting on a show in the nearby canal, while the sun offered a stunning Floridian sunset. It was like dining in a postcard! Ordered whole snapper with rice and veggies - simple, but wait till you hear about the flavors.

The snapper, drenched in a Thai sweet chili sauce and bedecked with toasted coconut, was an absolute showstopper. At first, I thought they'd mistaken my main course for dessert, but oh boy, it was a harmonious symphony of sweet, spicy, and crunchy that had my taste buds performing an encore.

The staff? Think of them as your long-lost pals. Friendly and quick, they could probably serve you faster than you can say "Island Grill in Islamorada" three times.

In all, the Island Grill was an unforgettable fusion of flavor, ambiance, and top-notch service. I arrived with a party of 5 and we were attended to right away, the staff are very lovely, and attentive. If you are attending during the night please be aware of mosquitos, my party sat close the dock and we were getting bitten by them. I ordered their burger which was great but for the price point of $16 for a burger and fries I would have expected the brioche buns to be atleast toasted or steamed. The meat on their burger was phenomenal but the fries were terrible, I substituted the regular fries for sweet potato fries and when they served them to me they were limp and almost cold. When I tried the fries there were some that were out right cold or par cooked (snappy in the center). You could clearly tell they weren't fried to order. I'm not the type of person to complain about food but the fries were definitely below fast food standards. Besides that none of the guests with me had anything negative to say about their seafood pasta with alfredo sauce, the mahi mahi in the pasta threw them off a bit but nothing negative.
