For solid state amp repair this might be your only choice, but I wouldn’t take the chance with a tube amp. There are much better options out there.
Out of 3 amps I took here 1 was fixed successfully but it was a SS amp that only required an input jack to be switched (and I was charged the $30 bench time). I was informed that another (tube) amp had a blown transformer, which was not the case (and was also charged another $30 bench time). Another shop was able to correctly diagnose the issue and fix it with an hours labor. On the third I was charged $125 to “fully” check out a vintage SS amp; the only thing he did was clean the pots and input jack. Essentially he stopped his investigation and work once he was able to get it to produce sound. No other work was done; the (non-working) reverb was ignored and the amp even still had the original 2 prong cord...
