Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Jacinto City

I really like dairy queen. I go mainly for their ice cream, However 2 days ago I got a grilled chicken salad for dinner and the morning after I had an extremely painful swollen and sore throat, diarreah, and lethargic which still persists. This salad was the only change in my diet. I am healthy and watch what I eat. I am a paramedic student and my symptoms and the time in which they occured match up to food poisoning. The salad was too peppery and the grilled chicken tasted like old grease. I was very hungry and ate it anyway. Towards the end of the salad I had to spit out the last of my dinner because it tasted gross. I am going to the doctor today and have had to miss work and school because my sore throat is dreadfully painful and hurts every time I swallow... If my doc thinks it could be food poisoning then I will post another review for an update... It is very hard to prove food poisoning cases but this makes you think how safe our food we are buying really is...It deffinately was not worth the 6 dollars I paid for the salad. UPDATE: I went to the Dr. and I do have food poisoning. I went through what I have eaten this past weekend and even for mothers day, The only uncooked food that I had all week was the salad from dairy queen tuesday night, and my other healthy meals were eaten with the family in which no one else has any signs or symptoms. I am not the one to file lawsuits but this has really been frustrating for me because I am practically bed confined due to my condition and to top it off I have a final on tuesday for my paramedic class. Ordered a foot long chili cheese dog with ONLY chili cheese and mayo, mozzarella sticks, and cherry arctic rush.... 1. They cooked my Weiner for my chili dog in the microwave and just threw it together, mayo was all over the container. 2. The mozzarella sticks were cold, the cheese was hard to bite through and it was only 3 for 2.99 plus tax. 3. Last but not least, the cherry arctic rush..... She went to make it and there wasn't any cherry flavor in the container so she asked a coworker did they have more, she said, "are there any more packages" and then she told the girl making my order "just put a little water in it it should be good" in Spanish. Had i known this was going to be a bad experience, I would've followed my first mind and went to sonic, if they do make the food the same way at least I can't see it. First and last time there...

So I always like to stop on my way to work at night and pick up food. Last week and night I arrived at 9:45pm and they were closed already. I have been there right at 10pm when the owners/manager was there and received service. When it's only the young people there they close early. If the sign says you close at 10pm you don't close early so you can get out early. Other employers don't allow you to stop working before the end of your shift. I guess now I'll be forced to go to McDonald's, Burger King or Chick-fil-A thanks for nothing and the loss of a loyal customer. Working nights you don't have a lot of options and this was my favorite but...
