Visited today, woke up with a fever, sore throat, and I was shivering. Drove to urgent care. They took me in and took about 30 minutes until I saw a doctor. Upset I'm sick on Christmas. I told them my symptoms. I got nose swobs, and they swobbed my throat. I am waiting for my results. Waited for another 30 minutes. The doctor came in, and the doctor was literally holding into the door as far as from me. Told me I tested positive for the covid... not even 5 minutes, i was told to leave. I'm really upset. They told me to leave, but I understand why, but. Before in those 5 minutes, he rambled about my pharmacy (cvs i go to) being closed and told me to go to a different "open one." (It's christmas... hours may vary...) Just gave me the name, no address. No, not only was I kicked out early, but they wouldn't give me at least a sticky note with the address. I drove and spent half an hour driving to 3 other wallgreens. All closed mind you! Fine! I'll get my prescription tomorrow. I went and called their urgent care number... and they wouldn't pick up. My head is bursting with anger. How I was treated as if I was some infected being?! (Which I mean I did get covid and understand their worries, but I feel if they really cared, they would of actually looked and saw if the pharmacies in the Wallgreens where open, because although each wallgreen was open! I was told the pharmacy was closed!) Unprofessional. I felt embarrassed, they where just laughing in the background. One of them yelled , "covid," and they all went quiet!! As if hundred of millions of people didn't already catch it! I believe that to be a neutral person, although I feel offended, I do understand why they told me to leave. Also, they actually told me in front of a full lobby of people I'm positive. Why are the good places so far away? I remember going to a different urgent care. Those people treated me as I was a human. Gave me advice when I first caught covid. They even asked me if you wanted a letter for my school stating i have covid and will be home for two weeks. Repeatedly told me that if my pharmacy I go to is open, checking in by calling them. The doctor even called them and said I tested positive for covid to expect me to have a drive-by and go through the drive threw. CVS ♥️ ILY You probably expected me to give a 1? Well, I've gone here a couple of times. When I was sick. This sort of thing never happened to me. So... moral! Would I recommend it? Yes, if it's the closest to you. But if you have like covid, dont... Also, stay away healthy by not drinking and washing your hands as much as possible every day. Try not to touch your face unless you are taking a shower and have washed...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I NEVER post reviews whether good or bad..The first time I went to this urgent care I left after 2 hours of waiting when there was 1 person in the waiting room. Ok. No big deal so we left and went somewhere else. I understand that places get busy but the place was empty. 2 years later I figured I would try again. Again I waited for hours when there were 2 patients in the entire office. No big deal. I called urgent care yesterday and today THIRTY times. I have a screenshot to prove it. NOBODY answered from 9 a.m. until around 4 p.m today, Thursday, October 8th. I then decided to call the pharmacy located in the same plaza to see if they could help. Someone at the pharmacy was AMAZING! He/She actually walked over to urgent care to let them know that I have been calling for hours and hours and no one is picking up. How conveniently after that phone call with the someone at the pharmacy that I received a call right away. I quickly called back and was able to speak to a man. First, he did not believe what I told him and his tone of voice showed me that he does not believe me and he was being snarky. He went on to tell me that I do not know how to use my phone and it must be a problem on my end. He asked, "When anyone calls, we tell you to hold." I said, no it just rang and rang and rang. He repeated that I must not be using my phone correctly. I am 34 years old and I know how to make a phone call but he insisted that I was doing something incorrectly yet the funny part is.... someone at the pharmacy told me that this happens all of the time and that they've already walked over to urgent care numerous times to let them know people have been calling all day. THAT right there tells you the problem. I know how to use a phone and make a phone call so please do not ever accuse any future patients that they do not know how to use a phone and practice not being condescending. I have no problem with waiting..but you cross the line when you speak to someone the way I was spoken to today. I am sad that you are the first place to cause me to write a review in my entire life when you are HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS. Please use this comment to better your establishment. Thanks! No hard feelings,(except I never wanted to ever post a comment good or bad) but just trying to help your office...
Read moreI completely understand the stressful times we’re facing dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak. However the first time I got tested at the Jackson drive thru, things went smoothly considering the circumstances. The second time I was there I was taking my boyfriend, because I made the appointment for him, they reached out to him before the time of the appointment to confirm some information. When he asked to do both the regular test and the rapid test due to being an essential worker in New York. The phone call was on speaker, so I can confirm that the worker speaking agreed. Once waiting in the line the woman who was performing the test basically advised us that he didn’t need to rapid test and that the results for the regular test were more accurate. Lastly and the most infuriating experience was my last one, today. I was exposed to someone who has Covid. Unfortunately mistakes happen and she misread her results, therefor I assumed I was able to be in contact with her without any worries. I made an appointment for 2 o’clock, when speaking on the phone to them I asked specifically if the test was the short or long swabs because I refuse to get tested using the long swab. Call me a baby, I don’t care. I’m fully aware and that’s why I called ahead of time and for some unknown reason I couldn’t get an answer. Funny thing is, after waiting close to an hour and half, I was seen at 3:18. Turns out the whole facility only has LONG SWABS!! So sincerely thank you so so much for wasting my time all because I couldn’t get a simple answer which by the way should be known if you’re...
