Emilio’s Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in Jackson Township

This pizzeria restaurant is the best hidden gem in Jackson! I dined here with my family of 8 two days ago and it was the most enjoyable dinner I've had in a while. First of all they were very accommodating with reserving a table for 8 on a Friday night. A great table right by the window. I was early and the table was waiting...with a note that it was reserved for 8 people at 6:30...just like they promised my mom. Our server, Michelle, was quite amazing. The service was truly outstanding! She was so friendly and attentive, poured each of us water (lemon slices on the side), brought bread...right away...and it was delicious, just like everything that came out after that. To start we had (2) of the sampler appetizers (cheesy garlic bread, calamari, mozz sticks, ravs, veggies etc.), plenty for everyone...all yummy options! The eggplant rollatini and parm, both were very good! The sauce and cheese all very fresh. And the portions were large, all entrees included a delicious salad with choice of dressing... which was placed on the side in a small container and also a side of pasta, again your choice of style...angel hair, penne, etc. My husband had the chicken parm...excellent.. and 3 others enjoyed the salmon...over pesto risotto...really good! Everything came out of the kitchen hot, well presented and better than one would expect. All prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food being served. Michelle watched over us the entire time we were there...she cleaned the table when necessary, she offered more water, grated cheese, she provided us with wine glasses and a wine opener. We could not have been treated more special, we were made very comfortable and fed well! I took my leftovers home ...they were so good I ate them for breakfast.. cold...right out of the to-go container they provided. The place is cute and clean...pizza area on one side and the restaurant on the other...bathrooms ...very clean also. I would highly recommend this restaurant any day of the week. We will be back for sure!

In the 15 years I have lived in Jackson, I have probably ordered from Emilio's well over a hundred times. What I experienced last evening infuriated me. I was quoted $31.35 for a delivery and the delivery guy insisted it was $34.35. Insisted!! Multiple times!! After an argument he goes back to his car and looks at the receipt. ???? Why did he not have the receipt with him at my door? The only answer I have is that he was trying to milk an extra three dollars from me... How many others has this guy done this to? I must have spent at least three hundred dollars so far this year here and they just lost a good customer over a lousy three dollars...with all that is going on, how can one of the few businesses that is delivering allow this to go on. When I called to inform them they did not care....I hope anyone who reads this review refuses to give them any...

Absolutely horrible customer service. I asked if they could replace ham with pepperoni in a calzone, and got charged $1.50 extra. That in itself is crazy, plus I wasn't told until I picked it up. When I questioned it the owner he was quite patronizing. Its not stated on the menu and I suggested the girl should have told me when I asked at the time I placed the order. He said they've been doing it for years and no one complains. I stated, "But I am". He nastily asked if I wanted to cancel it which I said no, but you have lost a customer. His reply was "So what. Its only one person". I've been a long time customer for years because of the location, but I will go a little farther to Inzillos now where the food is just as good, if not better, but with amazing customer service. To top it off, when I got home, the calzone was greasy...
