(Used my spam Google account, please remove if not allowed) I’ve visited the Jackson location for several MRIs over the last few years and have generally had pleasant experiences. Scheduling has been straightforward, the testing is comfortable enough all considered. I’ve had some long waits at times but it’s a busy facility and it is what it is. I intend to continue getting my testing done here moving forward.
I chose this place because of the many great reviews, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to them.
I’m very disappointed with my recent visit as a new patient. Scheduling was a hassle. I called three times & got different information each time. No reminder call or notification, so I had to call the day of to confirm my appointment was still that day & that nothing else was needed.
When I arrived, I had no idea which entrance or floor to go to. As a new patient, this information should have been communicated when I scheduled my appointment.
The tech I saw was unfriendly & gave very little explanation about what was happening. At one point she said “be right back” & left me laying on the table in a dark room for about ten minutes with no communication as to where she went. When she finally returned, she was vague & offered no real information or reassurance, except “the doctor said come back in 6 months.” The doctor at no point came in to speak with me about the results or to give any information. When I asked the tech for more details, she didn’t say much except that they would send results to my doctor’s office, leaving me feeling that they were unsure or not confident in their findings.

Read moreVery disappointed with my experience today, which is unfortunate since I've been there previously. The only positive was the concern and courtesy extended to me by Rachel who was the consummate professional. I had an 8:15 am procedure scheduled. I arrived at 8:00 am as instructed and checked in. At 8:25 I was told the doctor was running late and should arrive before 9am. HOWEVER, the technician that was reserved to assist the doctor had to go back to the hospital if the procedure didn't start by 9. At 8:55 am they took me into treatment room and said the doctor was expected shortly. The technician left to go back to hospital but I was told the doctor would prepare the slides. I waited in the treatment room until 9:20 am and the doctor never arrived! I requested my script back and I left. I won't be rescheduling my procedure. I've lost confidence in the facility. I've had prior experience with doctors who feel their time is more valuable than a patient's. I'll add this guy to the list!
