Sixth Sense Brewing & Taproom — Local services in Jackson

Well I've given Sixth Sense two tried for lunch and dinner. The Food failed both times and just now after trying their roasted buffalo chicken sandwich I have become sick. The chicken was pulled and chunked meat and a massive amount of what they said is their homemade buffalo sauce. See pic. All i tatsed was spicy salty sauce, could not taste the lettuce,onion or pickles. Prices are high so be prepared to spend money if you decide to ignore my review and sickness. I will not be returning here for food. I had high hopes as Jackson needs a great food and restaurant like everywhere else. Maybe if Sixth Sense gets actual true cooks with experience and better management more customers would swarm in.

Response to Restaurant writer: This is a review so you have to use a keyboard moron. I never said any bad review of the wait staff and gave them 4 stars. The issue is when a customer becomes sick to their stomach after eating your food after leaving the restaurant. This is the issue here as a fact that your food is not worth eating if it makes your customers sick after leaving your establishment. I finished up a Senior photography session a block away from Sixth Sense yesterday and decided to stop in for dinner, since I had always meant to check them out. Personally I don't drink alcohol, but I had heard good stuff about their food so I ordered a YMCA burger (no onions), order of cheese curds and a sweet tea. WOW is all I can say. Absolutely fantastic food and a very reasonable price and my waitress Rae did a fantastic job! I never leave my photography gear in the car after a shoot, so I had my softbox and camera with me inside so I asked if it would be okay if I took a few quick pictures of my meal and they said that was fine.

A bit later I saw the manager (Evan) making his rounds and when he stopped by to ask me how my experience was I showed him my iPad with the pictures I had taken and said "You all make some beautiful and delicious food". Many thanks to Sixth Sense for giving a small town an alternative to the other fast food places and bringing actually GOOD meals. I think I will have to do more shoots nearby in the future!

First time eating there. We ordered the the sampler as a appetizer. Everything was good except the shrimp wasn’t cooked and didn’t say that on the menu. My daughter was looking forward to the breaded shrimp. I ordered a pound of nubs. Half Garlic Parmesan and half Honey Sriracha . The nubs were good they were just stingy on the sauce. Could barely taste any sauce on the nubs. Very disappointed. My wife ordered a Caesar salad. They did give you a large portion of chicken strips but the lettuce was whole leaves, not cut. There were three croutons on the bottom and no Caesar dressing on the salad and No cheese. My wife isn’t the person to say nothing, told me to not to say nothing. She said that was the worst Caesar salad she has ever had. My daughter ordered 1/2 pound of plain nubs and fries. They were ok according to her. Our server was great and attentive to our needs. I was not impressed on the quality of food. I would give them another chance but my wife will not. So overall it was just a ok place with poor...
