I ordered 2 custom cutting boards. At first when they were delivered I was very disappointed at what they looked like. I had the recipe down the middle and not the size of the cutting board. I tried contacting 904 through email and through FB messenger and never received any kind of response. I even so much as did the online chat( absolutely horrible experience) all I got was well you should have asked for a "proof", there was zero sympathy and zero effort to try and figure out what happened. So as I read through these comments in the reviews, someone said to call they don't answer there emails quickly. Next day I called the customer service line and received Lisa D. on the phone Dec. 15th. I explained how upset and disappointed I was in these 2 custom boards that were gifts. She took extraordinary care of me. She looked through my order and found a couple of mistakes. First I ordered a small(definitely my mistake, I read wrong and admitted to her that was on me.) 2nd she found that the person working on my order was fairly new and they should have called or emailed me to ensure they understood my order. Lisa D. refunded my purchase and helped so I would get right. I ordered the correct size and put in the comments the things I needed. Mind you this was the 2nd time I ordered through this company a custom board. Last year was my trial for someone and it can out phenomenal so I revisited and ordered 2 more EXACTLY like it. Ordered placed again correctly this time and I receive an email from Tiara W. with a "proof" of what my boards would like. I quickly confirmed the proof with Tiara W and she made sure my order was complete. My boards arrived on time and once again phenomenal!!! I can't thank Lisa D. and Tara W enough for taking the time to make sure my order was EXACTLY the way I wanted it. I almost gave a horrible review until I read some knowing this company does better over the phone than through any other avenue at the moment. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI bought a custom wooden stamp from 904 Custom. I was excited to use it right away however, it was completed in a very rough and unfinished manner. The wood part of the stamp was rough and the edges were not sanded down. I sanded down the edges myself. In order to put the actual rubber stamp on the block it seemed like they used a double sided adhesive pad. It would have been fine, but the adhesive was not cut to the size of the rubber, so there was sticky pad all around the edges of the stamp. I was worried this would stick to the pages of my books when I used the stamp, so I cut it off myself. This then left a sticky residue on my stamp that I had to scrap off. The red outline shows the area where the adhesive pad was that I cut off. I am happy with the stamp font and I am looking forward to using it now, but I was expecting a higher quality of product for the price and amount of products they have on their site. I stumbled across this site and was pleased that I could get the cutting board before Christmas. The site did not provide a proof of image to ensure everything was correct, but since it was so close to Christmas I took a chance.
When the gift arrived as promised I was even happily until I opened the package. The title read āDadās Favorite Recipe ā. I was under the impression that was an example on the site of how the recipe would look. Even though my daughterās boyfriend still loved it and everyone got a laugh I couldnāt be 100% about the gift.
Maybe I missed something on the site, in my haste to order but I would have been nice to view what the finished product would look like it more detailed information.
