There are no exaggerations in this post. From the moment I stepped out of my car, this wasn't just breakfast. It was a breakfast experience ๐. I smelled homestyle breakfast the moment I stepped out of my car. Inside, it is a clean breakfast dinner with a classic bar and dinner bar stools, booths, and tables. While it was busy, there were plenty of options available for seating. The server Bridgett is very accommodating. I asked for many specific things like water with no ice and but with lemons, a side of milk instead of creamer with my coffee, and even happily replaced my coffee with their flavored coffee of the day with no charge for the regular. (She didn't mention it when I asked if they had flavored creamer beforehand). The coffee was steaming, but not too hot to drink immediately. Many servers may get an attitude at my specific requests or forget something with how busy it was, but she happily accommodated with haste and professionalism. I didn't know what I wanted to eat, and she helped me choose from 3 options I was considering.
The Scramble Carnita Bowl was fantastic. Good portion for the size. The creamy Hollandaise sauce was so good that I didn't need ketchup for my hashbrowns. Everything was made fresh, and the quality and portions were as good as it gets unless you're in heaven. I had the strawberry bread pudding monthly special for dessert, and it was wonderful. I spoke with the manager, and she was nice as well.
It was a little noisy, and the outdoor seating was not being utilized, but those are small criticisms that are overshadowed by the quality of service,...

A not new employee (female) lets leave her name out, approached an already figured out situation, comes up and instead of observing the new employee and her work, jumps in with already seemed judgement, that's not his order!!!!! I was like she ( new employee) already have a handle on this with the necessary information. Oh, she's new and don't want her to give you the wrong order! (I wonder why i thought).. After I tried to explain to you ( rude employee) where my name on the receipt is located ( (because you should know) you never once took a moment to check, something that the new employee couldve gone to right away too.You were so rude! Me explaining to you hey see my name is here on the receipt, what did you do? Walked away. I'm a usual customer and known you, I will honestly ask for someone else if your working my table.
Take a page out of the new employees book, she was on game with customer service 5-๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐
Suggest customer service retraining for this individual because your new employee doesn't need that bad training

Corporate: if you are the problem, then get out of their way!!!! We will choose to support another local institution if we are told no to PAYING EXTRA, for the food we want to have. AND THEN, the audacity: to us, in house, as you continue telling us "no" in many different ways, verbally penalize the other Metro locations' management who made the BEST decision to make the PAYING CUSTOMER HAPPY by allowing us to pay extra for the meat we want to consume. We have never been in an establishment with such powerless management before this day. It's ashamed bc this is the original location and we've made many memories here thru the yrs. How does an institution say "no" to making extra money?!?! We won't be back. I'll be amazed if Corporate cares enough to reach out to me concerning this review.
