I recently reserved a room this past friday 11.22.19 thru 11.24.19. On arrival, which was around 9pm, i was informed that my i.d. did not match my reservation name. This is because im a newlywed and my i.d. still carries my maiden name. I was told by the front desk worker that i had to cancel my online reservation since the names did not match. I showed the front desk clerk where it said it would charge me 67.50 if i cancel. He assured me i would not be charged. I canceled as i was instructed and paid for the two night stay under the correct name. I get to my room which had a roach in the bathroom crawling but i only saw one so i did not complain ..it was a cheap room. I later called my balance and i was infact charged the cancellation fee of 67.50. My husband and i went to the front desk at which at this time it was someone else working and the other clerk had left for the evening. We tried to explain what happened but he seemed confused. I waited until today ..Monday ..11.25.19 and my bank said there was no pending refund. So i called the hotel ..address 4679 bill gardner prkwy in locust grove GA..a man answered and all i got out of my mouth was i had checked in friday and that was it! The clerk cut me off immediately very irrate might i add that i wasnt going to cause any problems and i tried to cut in and tell him it was about a refund, he screams at me that there are no refunds. He doesnt speak english well. I still tried to explain that i have paid and already stayed and checked out but he continued to scream at me that i wasnt getting anything. I tried to give him my name and he hung up on me. I then called right back and asked him who had worked the evening we checked in and he refused the employees name and when asking for his he hung up on me again. I called corporate number that online gave me 1828.926.9137. A young lady answered and said i had the wrong number and gave me another number which still was not correct. I was robbed by this hotel that i paid and stayed 2 nights at over the weekend!! This is the worst hotel ive ever stayed at and the staff is horrible!!! And i was robbed my money even tho i was instructed to cancel and still...
Read moreThe projects and the trailer park have come together. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The quality of service here is so poor. The outlets don't hold cords. There seems to be a clientele that visits here on a regular basis that would be very comfortable living in a ghetto slum or a trailer park. The noise level from other guests can easily be heard through the walls and they have no regard for guests who want peace and quiet. The curtains in the room do not close all the way, the bed sheets have cigarette Burns, oh the bathtub has been painted with paint chips coming off, the room condition was dirty when I entered, and the TV gets poor reception. There were mysterious stains inside drawers, drug deals and crack deals going on around, some residents appear to live here with home decorations sitting in the window sill, and numerous guess had their own outdoor grill. I barely got any sleep because again the noise level was absolutely ridiculous and it seemed to go on well past 1 a.m. with guess of all types screaming and yelling and in some cases fighting. I'm certain the police visit here on a regular basis. There was a warning a security guidelines card in my room warning me that if anybody should come to my room to make sure that my doors are locked and that I should call the front desk first to verify if hotel personnel have come to my room. They also warned that if I have any doubt about a person's identity who has come to my door I should contact the front desk or possibly 911. I was frightened by this morning as I don't often see it in a hotel room. Funny thing, a stranger did come to my door well after 11 pm. This person proceeded to bang on my door and I was terrified. When I looked through the peephole it looked like some person who does not work for the hotel either lighting up a cigarette or a crack pipe. I stayed silent with hopes that they would go away and eventually they did. Finally I would just say that if you are desperate, if you need a place that might be slightly above staying on the streets, then by all means come...
Read moreROACHES, bugs, FILTHY, a HEALTH HAZARD, ROACHES!!! My daughter was visiting from out of town and not knowing the area well, booked this hotel. When I arrived at this place the first thing I noticed was how poorly lit the hallways and exterior were. Walked in the room, turned on the lights, which were very dim, took a quick scan of the room and told my daughter that she was not staying in this filthy, disgusting place. Then we saw it, a bed bug on the wall and roaches on the table. Went to turn in the key and make the night manager aware of the situation, our concerns and reasons why we were leaving, he told us he wasn't refunding our money because we were there for more than an hour, which isn't true at all. We never asked for a refund either and was more concerned with the bugs in the room. We told him we weren't there for an hour as we had just gotten there, he got disrespectful yelling at us telling us he didn't give a da#n because he had it camera that the car was there for over an hour. While we were there, here comes a couple to complain that the room they were given had roaches and the one they were moved to was already occupied, they were afforded a lot more courtesy than my daughter and I, even after the woman said she was filing a complaint with the BBB. It didn't surprise me that they got a more friendly and respectful interaction with the night manager and no, at no time were we disrespectful either. This place NEEDS to bring their rooms up to standard and the healthy department needs to investigate them for beg bugs and roaches.
Just horrendous, disgusting, and shameful that this place is named the Scottish Inn when Filth, Roaches, Bed Bugs Are Us would be a more...
