If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! The customer service, drinks, staff, and establishment were amazing when I visited. I was greeted by baristas Mary-Holton and Josh, who were energetic, happy spirited, nice, and friendly. I spoke to a very nice gentleman there who showed me around and told me about the mission of Happy Brew. They are a non-profit organization that helps individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities with employment, leadership, building confidence, and job training. This coffee shop is pretty big and offers different amenities for your needs. There is a Relax section where there's two huge bean bag chairs, a small section with board games and books, and a sofa. On a few tables, you will see Employee Spotlight cards that focus on different employees and their likes. There's two big conference rooms there that you can rent for meetings or private gatherings. There's also plenty of seating indoors throughout and a lovely outside patio area you can enjoy. The tables inside are adjustable and equipment to "self-raising," which inthink is pretty cool. I had a caramel frappe, and it was SO DELICIOUS! I will definitely be coming back to this coffee shop very soon and recommend others to check them out as well. It's between Metro Diner and a church on Hendricks Ave. Parking is at the church if you wonder where to park. They use Agave Staws as well, which is cool. Enjoy, and you won't be...

What a gorgeous coffee shop inside and out! Full of life, color, big open windows, smiling faces, and delicious coffee. I was not expecting Happy Brew to be so big and open! I loved the indoor and outdoor space!

Inside there are rooms if you need a little privacy for a meeting of some sort. Upon looking around and checking everything out, I discovered one of the meeting rooms had vibrant local art one of the employees painted - very cute. Everything is set up to accommodate wheel chairs from the front door entrance, to the bathrooms, table tops, it’s such a nice touch that does not go unnoticed & is much appreciated. This is a coffee shop welcoming of all ages. One room even has a few board games in it!

My Happy Brew iced latte was delicious. I swapped regular milk for oat milk no problem! I’m really looking forward to going back and trying more items off the menu.

On my way inside, they happened to be painting the butterflies on the side of the building. This was fascinating to watch the artist at work. I was so captivated with spontaneously stopping in here last week that I’ve decided this is now one of my top 3 favorite coffee shops in Jax now (& we have A lot here in the 904) Very impressed! I...

I always drive past Happy Brew on my lunch break and I decided to stop in today to see what all the hype was about… the staff and the food were AMAZING! When we first walked in, we were greeted with smiles and hellos, immediately! While at the counter ordering, the young lady working the register complimented us and it put a smile on our faces just like the smile she had when she greeted us when we came inside.

Then, when I was grabbing my water bottle from the cooler, the kindest gentleman came up to me to confirm that I wanted the Caesar wrap and if I wanted it warmed up or cold. He even said “Mr.” and then my first name.

They brought our food to the table we chose and the same gentleman that confirmed how I wanted my wrap pointed out where the chips were and walked me over to where they were at so I could pick out of the selection.

After we ate and put our plates in the return bin. As we were leaving the same lady working the register sent us on our way with the same smile we were greeted with.

I apologize for the long review, but this place is AMAZING! Hypothetically speaking, even if the food/coffee wasn’t good… I’d choose this place over Starbucks any day solely based on the...

First and foremost, the people behind the counter made me welcome and comfortable as if I was at home. My coffee experience begins and ends with that bar of joy. To be fair it was a slow time in the early afternoon and there were just a few customers. The expressions of joy came from the staff’s souls. The coffee roast is incredibly smooth and satisfyingly robust. The taste and aromas were entangled as a good draft should be. The clarity of the coffee assured a full experience. I had already eaten and did not try their food but it looked very inviting. The place was stellar, it had its own cosmology. A couple was on the covered western patio drinking in the time together. The grassy pitch could support a number of activities. Inside had realms of personal space or corporate provisions. The place is a #TARDIS. The water fountain allowed me to fill my #Nalgene so I hit the road ready. Bathroom was spotless and well fitted. The airspace was uplifting and fresh. Josh Thiele and the Team have created a welcoming place for weary travelers and their companions or the #BadWolf readying to save the day with help from their Friends.
