Cutting Loose Styling Salon — Local services in Jacksonville

The team of hair dressers and more importantly the owner are disgustingly rude . Not to mention complete con artist . I purchased a Groupon for $80 for a cut, style, conditioning , and balayage with April . When I arrived at the salon for my scheduled appointment she was lunch . After waiting a few minutes she came out still chewing her lunch and walked me to the chair . Before we even went over my cut she said it was going to be $45 additional and that it was in the fine print . After seeing that it was, I told her I'd have reschedule because I was prepared to pay additional at the time . She said okay sounds great just give me a call . A few days later I went on Groupon to re print , she redeemed my groupon as if I had received services . I contacted her she said that the time window she made for my appointment forfeited my groupon but she was still willing to do my hair . I contact the owner of the business to see if there was anything that could be done . She said that she would have another stylist provided service for the same price ($45 additional) . When I arrived to my appointment the stylist started off by saying she didn't know if she could do it . Then told me it would be $70 additional to my $80 groupon . I told her the owner said over the phone she would honor my groupon plus the additional $45 . She then stated that the owner didn't approve that and didn't know why it would only be $45 when normally its $70 . I turned and asked the owner if she remembered speaking with me over the phone and if she was going to honor her word ? She said I remember speaking with you but no its going to be $70 additional for you roots . I contemplated doing my roots or not for a moment and then asked her if she thought it would look alright if I didn't do my roots . She then said she wasn't going to do my hair at all . It literally was in a split second she just changed her mind about doing my hair . Even though I had already paid $80 and never received any type of service . This salon is my absolute favorite place to go to I have been coming here since I was born and everybody in there is so friendly and loving and they make me feel welcome they love to chitchat and gossip and I feel like that’s the whole point of a hair salon but the amazing work that they do on your hair whether it be the top of your head or your facial hair it doesn’t matter they do an amazing job at it.
