Dirty dirty hotel. Hilton should be ashamed to carry their name on this brand. After a crazy check in ( guy upfront basically told me I booked the wrong location) he failed to look me up and find my reservation. I had to stop another off duty employee and ask for assistance. Upon entering the room, I went to turn on the ac thermostat. Tell me why I found an old Kit Kat bar stuck inside the control panel. Can’t make this up really. I was disgusted!! Yuck. On my way out that night I stopped by the front desk and showed the picture to the same guy who pretended he could not find my reservation and all he did was laugh. There was also curly black hair in different places over the room and I’m wearing braids, so it definitely did not belong to me. The bed was not fresh I can almost guarantee that the bed did not have fresh sheets. It literally lookedlike someone was laying in the bed or had things sitting on top of the bed and housekeeping just made it up. Just a lot of dust in the bathroom vents. I was literally itching the entire night from whatever was in that room. There was like a light fly flying around in the lamp. It could have been harmless, but I’m not sure if that’s what bit me or if it was a mosquito or what but yeah they definitely need to fire housekeeping. The guy was also the the one who picked the room for me. I think it was intentional. It was room 523 FYI.

The location is good. Breakfast is alright and there's good parking. The room was not cleaned well enough though. I don't even think the sheets and duvet were even changed on one of the beds, there's even trash behind my mattress that would have been removed if they had changed the sheets. There was long blonde and black hair all over the place in fairly obvious locations. The toilet seat had piss all around the underside of the rim. The USB converters in the desk/night stand have a constant high pitched hum. There was even some random sock under the linen at the foot of my bed. All these things to complain about, from a Hilton brand...if my company wasn't paying for my stay, and there was another hotel available that wasn't fully booked for the PGA thing down here, I would have been down at the desk checking out the first night. I don't hate the place, I'm just disappointed in the terrible quality and lack of pride the employees take in maintaining it. The rest of my team dealt with similar issues here, and we won't be returning if we can help it. Shower after you get out of bed if you want to be clean and get whatever the previous visitor may have left off of you.

I had a very strange experience here. When looking out my room’s peephole and realizing I couldn’t see through it, I noticed that there was lotion (or some similar substance) in the peephole obstructing the view. I’m not sure if this was done on behalf of a guest trying to prevent anybody from seeing IN the peephole, or if it was done by someone else to ensure that a guest couldn’t see OUT of the peephole. Super creepy and left me uneasy. The towels didn’t seem very white or clean. There were also clothes hangers clipped to the curtains and I can’t figure out why, but it seems like housekeeping didn’t remove them after someone had done this, so I wondered what else in the room was left untouched. The lamp in our room was extremely rusty and the shower door was almost impossible to open and close. However, every employee I encountered was very friendly, and the breakfast was the best Hampton Inn breakfast I’ve ever had. I chose this hotel because it was more affordable than others, but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff are above excellent at this hotel. We came to Jacksonville to visit with family and were so very pleasantly surprised by being treated like family by every member of the staff that we came into contact with. No request was too small or too great.

A few of the people who come first to mind are:

Jereme - When checking in I kept changing my mind about where I wanted our rooms, how close to each other etc. He and Taleshia handled my requests and changes like pros. Even though I was tired and grumpy from the trip they both treated us with respect and kindness. The rooms ended up being absolutely perfect!! During our stay I stopped at the desk and asked him about things to do that would interest all of us (ages 2 through 57) He suggested several spots and each were perfect

Taleshia - She assisted Jereme in getting us the rooms per my request, even going as far as to leave the desk and go check a couple of rooms on the upper floor. I found out that she was not feeling well but you would never have known it from the way she did her job and went above and beyond during our entire stay. Any request we made of her (extra towels, etc.) was met with amazing speed and professionalism.

Mary Ellen - She was in charge of the breakfast all but the last morning we were there. We are amazed at how well she kept everything stocked, the cleanliness, and her going above and beyond. There were eleven of us and she opened the "board room" for us so that we could all sit together and enjoy ourselves without inconveniencing other guests.

The food was absolutely fantastic!! I had surgery before we came and am very limited on what I can eat but I was able to find something every morning that I could eat. That may seem easy to do but it isn't. We stayed at another brand name hotel on the way to Jacksonville and there breakfast offered little to nothing for me to eat. The selection at this hotel is truly amazing!!

Our rooms were huge, very clean, and extremely comfortable. Every day the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job cleaning and prepping our room for that nights rest. It was such a pleasure to come back to the hotel each night. They even arranged the stuffed animals on the bed for my grandchildren. I haven't experienced that kind of care since our cruise eight years ago. The kids really loved seeing their animals on the big bed waiting for them.

In one of the bathrooms there was a screw in the faucet that needed adjustment. We let the person at the front desk know and went to breakfast. When we came back maintenance had already been there and fixed it!!

I could go on for pages about the excellence of service and the quality of this hotel but I will stop before I bore you to death. I will say this is the only hotel my family and I will even consider staying in when visiting...

Not very happy with my stay here on Friday, Aug. 03, 2018. When I checked in, the TV wasn't working (DISH?? if I recall correctly). The TV was showing that I just needed to wait a little to see if it'll work. About 15min later, it still did not work so I called and I was told other customers are having issues. I figured, since many are affected, it must have been a priority. Since it's a nice Friday and I can go out and have them fix it up. Came back around 8:00 PM that night, and TV is still not working. I called back, and I was told that it's not no one was coming over because the provided did not fix their TV and no one from provider is going to fix it. So we are paying full and we can’t even enjoy the TV!!! Decided to just connect to the WiFi and just stream movies off my laptop. Lo and Behold, it was so slow, the stream buffers every 5 second, and nothing is watchable. Even when I paused for 5min, it will only play for a couple of minute before it buffers again. And no, it’s not my laptop, I can stream 1080p just fine. I tried lowering quality to 720p and it’s still horrible. No TV, slow internet, what else could go wrong? Oh you know what, the ref leaked!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could have been electrocuted and die! I called guest service, and a nice lady came up and I was advised that the ref has been turned off so the frozen ice are melting and leaking. She was apologetic and understood the issue. She also explained about the TV and all. I understand it’s night, she called the provider, and nothing can be done. Still, the experience of my stay there is already ruined. My night wasn’t good at all!!!!!! The following morning, I decided I’d like to speak to the manager and air my grievance, and I met with Becca (not the same lady the night before). She seems agitated, and not at all interested with assisting with my issue. She’s far disconnected, only wanted to do with the check out, and be done with it. I explained to her my issue, and still, just set it aside as “I can’t do anything about it” attitude; she’s not doing anything to alleviate any concern that I have and told me that I can instead speak with the manager. So yeah, sure, I said I’d like to: except, the manager is not there, and they don’t work during the weekends. My night was a nightmare, and my working was wreck and maybe that’s why I think the breakfast is bad and horrible (not the breakfast staff, just the food). TL;DR: No TV, Slow Internet, Bad Breakfast, leaky ref, unprofessional morning guest service (Becca?) made my stay as horrible as it can be. Nope, this Hotel ain’t cheap for $140 a night. Sorry Hampton and Hilton, this is probably my...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY STAYING HERE. I had the unfortunate displeasure of staying at this "establishment" (for lack of a better word). I reserved a room with my HHonors # and had a late check in. A clue to what type of stay I was in for should have been when I called to confirm my reservation and the woman at the counter answered the phone with nothing more than a hello and a confused tone of why I was calling. She informed me that," oh yeah, I already checked you in" when I called to verify. Once I arrived, no one was at the front desk, in fairness it was 4 o'clock in the morning......why would a hotel clerk be at the desk? After searching the lobby for someone to assist me, I was checked into my FIRST room for the night (morning). Once I entered the room I set my bags down and immediately checked the beds. I pulled back the sheets and discovered hairs in BOTH beds. Hair was on the sheets (on the bed and where the pillows were). I called the front desk and informed the woman at the desk. She apologized and offered a different room. I gathered my belongings, exited the FIRST room, and headed back downstairs to the lobby. I was given another key to a different room, but on the same floor. After entering the 2ND room I checked the beds again and, thankfully, found no hairs. I set my belongings down and entered the bathroom to take a shower and discovered HAIR once again. This time the hair was on the floor and the toilet. After this discovery, I again, called the front desk and informed them. By this time it was around 5 and I had traveled 5 hours. I had a meeting at 8:30 that morning. I laid down in the bed and tried to sleep. Once it was time for me to get up. I got dressed and went back to the lobby. I was again informed the front desk of my ordeal where the manager ( a man) apologized for the inconvenience and handed me over to the clerk so that he could assist another guest. The clerk checked me out and then stated she accidentally charged my card again, but it would be off in a few days. The charge still is on there ( I visited this place on 1/14 and this review is being posted on the 21st). I have called the HHonors line, I attempted to call the "hotel" no manager was available after 4, and the next day I was treated to an email with no resolution provided instead of a...
