Delicja Polish Market — Local services in Jacksonville

When we travel to larger cities we always check for Polish delis to bring home sausage. Our home city doesn't have any. We tried Delicja on our trip to Jacksonville- we are happy we did.

When we walked in there were three trays of pierogi that were just made - meat, kraut and mushroom, potato and cheese.

After shopping there wasn't much of a choice left (15 minutes 😎)

We picked up - potato rolls (still warm), smoked sausage (cherry and garlic), I took the last five potato and cheese pierogi, finished up a dozen with 7 kraut and mushroom.

We also got cheese blintzes and some homemade pickles. Wow.

It's a small store - very clean.

Tonight we had the garlic sausage on the potato rolls and we tried the pierogi. They were definitely homemade. They tasted great!! Now I know why they went so fast!!

Very impressed with the sausage - not fatty, perfect flavor and a nice snap to the casing. Sausage was not salty at all. We put it on the potato rolls and it went well together. We're trying the cherry sausage tomorrow with cabbage.

Pierogi were great- I wish I could have bought more - and will go back before holidays to order.

We each had a cheese blintz and they were amazing - like grandma made. The pickles reminded me of the ones my parents made.

Love that they are so nice and traditional Polish - will be back next time we travel to...

This will be a very quick review for this visit...Today, I had an appointment nearby and thought I would stop in on my way home for a quick look at their sausages. Most of the sausages in the deli case are smoked with others being frozen. Being a fan of smoked sausage, I thought I would get some different kinds along with a few deli meats and kielbasa from the freezer case. What a great find here in Mandarin area. I have sampled the smoked sausages and they are really good. A consistent mild smoke taste that comes through immediately, yet not overwhelming. If you like good smoked pork sausage, give this place a try. All are fully cooked and are great as a snack and a cold beer. I will be back to sample more products from...

I cannot believe we got lucky enough here in Jacksonville for a Polish store of this size, variety, and quality. The prices are amazing. The fresh baked bread (when they have it) is better than any bakery I’ve tried in town, and I’ve tried them all. They have a large variety of cheeses, meats, desserts, snacks, spices, jams, that authentic Polish honey, frozen pierogi, poppy seed rolls, black currants, you name it! We already have a new shopping list called “Delicija” and my husband and kids add to it weekly. Makes this Polish...
