Bought a gift certificate here for my mom for Christmas so she could get her hair done. Robert was recommended to me by one of his clients who has great hair. My mom came back with the worst haircut she's ever had. He gave her the standard old lady haircut - the completely out of style, poofy on top with the tapered neck that every woman over 90 at your church with blue hair has. She came home devastated. She's worn a pageboy cut since she was a teenager and he cut the back and sides off and although she didn't ask for anything specific, she assumed he would at least keep the style. He did not communicate with her about what he was going to do or discuss her style and then surprise. Why anyone would give a woman who doesn't wear that style, that style is beyond me. She doesn't want to leave the house until it grows out. I'm very upset because I paid for the gift certificate plus whatever she put down for him to ruin her hair for the next few months. She will NOT be back and I wouldn't recommend this...

Soo…relatively new to the area, looking at hair salons close by with good reviews. Decided upon Ella’s and get an appointment for Saturday, May 14th. They text me a confirmation- we’re good to go. Then I find out I’m going to have to fill in for someone at work so I text them to cancel. Two full days in advance. They text me ok, we’re still good to go. So I call today for another appointment and are you ready for this?? I can’t make another appointment because new customers aren’t allowed to make a second appt. if they miss the first!! Are you kidding me? 😂So word of advice. If you’re new to Ella’s, whatever you do, keep that first appointment!! If your car has been stolen or you’ve broken your leg or have a fever of 105-no matter what it is, do WHATEVER it takes to get there because you won’t get a second chance!
