Do not under any circumstances trust this "business" with any belonging of value or anything you expect to see again if it doesn't sell, especially if it is a designer item. Additionally, their customer service is so incredibly poor, and I am shocked that a business is capable of treating their customers in such a disrespectful and disregarding manner. I have been consigning clothing for about 15 years and have even worked at a consignment store so I'm familiar with the nature of this process. I started bringing in my items to Fifi's in 2018 when my favorite consignment store closed. I made certain to familiarize myself with Fifi's consignment agreement (which is currently not up to date on their website). The updated policy says that you forfeit all rights to commission on your items as well as the physical items as soon as you bring it in to agree to consign. They also reserve the right to donate your item at anytime, however they do not let you retrieve your item more than 42 days after it's checked in. I make sure to call regularly to check when I can pick up an item if it doesn't sell. Last Thursday I came in to pick up a few items (they make you search through their entire store inventory for your items) and after searching the entire store, I informed the manager that I was unable to locate the BCBG dress (originally priced $260) so they pretty much told me to look again, which I did. After searching the second time, I had spent close to an hour looking and had to leave for an appointment. I requested if they come across it while I'm out of town for the next 2 days to PLEASE set it aside because I want it back. They seemed to mockingly tell me "uh ok...". I came in Monday (they are closed Sunday) and searched the store twice again before asking the associate about it. She looked up my account as informed me that they decided to donate my item sometime within the 2 days after I came in looking for my dress and had specifically requested they do not sell or donate it. I had to come back a third time to speak with the manager (same one that I asked just days prior not to sell or donate the item), and what ensued was by far the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE experience I have ever encountered. She rudely and dismissively told me she doesn't have time to worry about everyone's clothes and it's my fault for "probably just missing it" even though I searched several times. It's convenient that it got found and immediately "donated" within 2 days instead. I wouldn't make a big deal about just any item, but this was a perfect condition, high quality, trendy BCBG dress that I wanted back if it didn't sell at Fifi's. There are tons of items in that store that I know for a fact have been there 3x as long as my dress was (which was not even 3 months) and did not get "donated". I am beyond disgusted and disappointed with this business and everyone should be aware of their horrible business practices and despicable customer service. I recommend literally any other option to sell or consign your items besides Fifi's, especially the Harbour...
Read moreI buy almost exclusively from consignment stores (except for my favorite brick & mortar, Kohl's) and Fifi's is one of my top two. The choice of clothing - brands, size availability, quality, & price - is unbeatable. This is a great shop for high-end pieces and other popular brand name clothing, all at fair prices. The store is clean and well-organized, and if you didn't know better, you might think you were in a specialty boutique/department store. The person in charge of consigning obviously knows what she is doing as I've never come across much that wasn't in "very good" to "like new" condition.
My experience with the sales staff has always been pleasant. The last time I was in, I told the girl what I was looking for as well as what I DIDN'T want/like and she immediately walked through the store and picked out the pieces FOR me, after which I was in and out in about 20 minutes with several items that were exactly what I was looking for! These days it's hard to find sales staff in department stores who are willing to offer such help. Alternatively, I can spend an hour browsing/trying on items and not feel pressured by the sales staff.
All in all I cannot find anything negative to say about Fifi's. Even the location and parking is great, with plenty of other good stores and restaurants to drop into with all the $$$ I've just saved by shopping at Fifi's.
Do yourself - and your wallet - a favor by making plans to explore...
Read moreI don’t usually go out of my way to leave a review, but our experience with the staff today was unacceptable. I was in the middle of changing in the dressing room that the staff member unlocked to let me into (so she should have known I was there) and without even knocking on the door first the staff member unlocks and swings open the door exposing me to the entire store. The staff member was opening the door for another customer who thought she left something in that room. Instead of immediately closing the door and apologizing, the staff member holds the door open and the customer enters my dressing room to look for the missing item! I couldn’t believe how rude they both were. I was ready to leave but my mom wanted to try on some things herself. While my mom was trying on her clothes the same staff member saw that another customer needed a room unlocked and AGAIN without knocking unlocks and opens my moms door exposing her while she was changing! No apologies at all. A THIRD TIME this same staff member tried to open my moms room but my mom had her hand on the knob this time and didn’t let her pull it open. We left and told the staff member she needs to be more polite and at least knock first if she can’t remember what room people are occupying and she was not sincere or apologetic. I can’t believe the audacity. Never going back! And my kids go to bay & bee in the same plaza so I would have been a repeat customer had this...
